in Latest Book Releases

Some highly anticipated books (like that sexy MMA fighter to the left), and the re-release of Sempre (he’s a Mafia prince!!) plus a new one from Laura Kaye Hard As It Gets (tattoo artist/ ex-military) and more!  But I found a bunch of new and different sounding romance reads in this batch.

A few Christmas love stories (perfect timing!) including a Christmas series comprised of novellas that happen in a small town, and each synopsis had me grinning and curious (each installment by a different author). Also, We’ve got a pro poker player that gambles a bit too hard and gets herself in serious trouble, a new sexy sounding rock star read (TWO bands touring together with an “ex” in each band), a down on his “popularity” actor that meets a super-fan, and a bunch more. I dunno, I haven’t read ‘em yet, but we’ve got some great look choices to sample. Likely some brand new gems in this list!

I noted… a lot. LOL! What!? They all sounded up our alley! Hehe. I was like… “This one!! Oh wait. No… This one!”… and then “ooooooh maybe THIS one”. Yeah, I know… ;) And it doesn’t help my one-click addiction that you guys found us so many awesome looking bargains books, that I’ve never heard of before (but look right up our alley), either!

P.S. Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere). :)

BARGAINS (NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order).

  • The Perfect Game: A Novel (The Game Series, Book One) by J. Sterling <— SUPER ANGSTY (prepare to wanna throw your e-reader ;) ) baseball hero that becomes famous… (thanks Kandace!!)
  • The Game Changer: A Novel (The Game Series, Book Two) by J. Sterling <— this one, too!! (Plus book #3 – the final installment – will be out December 25th 2013!)
  • Clutch (Custom Culture) by Tess Oliver <— Nancy found us this bargain saying: “Free Fall Book 1 & ALL TESS OLIVER BOOKS 99 CENTS FOR BLACK FRIDAY WEEK.” Looks like a biker book!
  • Drowning (Tears of Sin Series) by Rachel Firasek <— oh wow this one looks gorgeous!!! (thanks Aimee!!) “Those words would change adrenaline junkie, Alice Harrison’s life forever. She’s a party girl that doesn’t believe in love until she meets a man that only writes about it.” and then “But when the walls fall down, the hidden deceptions will bare the ugly truth about a woman drowning in sorrow and a man who may not know how to be her hero.
  • Tragically Flawed by A.M. Hargrove <— deal found by Lynn! “Riviera Benson’s past has been nothing but horrific. It’s filled with secrets that she intends to keep tightly locked away…terrifying secrets that keep her awake at night…that prevent her from getting close to anyone…anyone that is, until her work as a muralist drives her into the arms of the hot and sexy Shan.
  • Color Blind (Team Red) by T. Hammond <– found by Aimee and she says: “18 out of 18 reviews were 5 star” Oh wow I don’t even know which piece to pick out of the synopsis to show you. I’ll start with the beginning: “Blinded and scarred in an accident a year ago, Teresa has finally found love, and a new career with the help of her companion dog, Red. Red appears to be a typical German shepherd, but he shares a mental communication link with his owner that is anything but ordinary.”
  • Willing Captive by Belle Aurora <— Lori reminds us that this one (not a dark book) – tons here LOVED it.
  • Awakening by Kitty Thomas <— but these ARE dark. ;) “Queen of dark” author. It’s a short one though.
  • The Auction by Kitty Thomas <—- and this one too. (thanks Lori!!)
  • Butterfly Weeds by Laura Miller <— I LOVED this one (thanks Stephanie). Here’s my review.
  • My Butterfly by Laura Miller <— and so is book #2 which is HIS POV.
  • non friction by Morgan Parker <— Stephanie found us this deal and it looks right up our alley! I dunno, but I have a feeling I’m going to like him. “After 12 years, 4 months and 1 and 1/2 weeks of marriage, his wife packs up and leaves with their daughter. So he writes an Indie novel. And it becomes a bestseller. Well, sort of.  His fame brings him the lifestyle of a rockstar, and he has the fan mail (i.e. female undergarments, probably clean) to prove it.  But seeing his fame, his wife suddenly believes in marriage counseling. Their homework: to create something beautiful for each other.  So he writes Our Story, his literary secret-weapon that will win his wife back. But in the process he discovers that true love is more than just ticking the right boxes on a checklist. It starts with… well… }i{ .  ” <— Okay yah. I totally one clicked this, too!
  • Protecting What’s His (A Line of Duty Novel) (Entangled Brazen) by Tessa Bailey <— (thanks Jennifer) and I LOVED this one!!!! (my review)
  • Long After (Sometimes Never) by  Cheryl McIntyre <—(thanks Kat!) – She’s pretty  much “perfect and organized” and he’s “Chase Malloy is funny, loyal, and an all around nice guy. He’s also sloppy, tattooed, and undirected. All Chase wants to do is survive college, hang out with friends, and make music. ” Tee hee!!! Sounds like fun!
  • Wasted Heart by Nicole Reed <— Kat found us this deal, too, saying: “Yay Wasted Hearts. I loved Ruining Me and Ruining You, where Rhys(hope I spelt his name right) is first introduced.” and Janet says: “Loved this one.”
  • Personal Experiences (The Personal Series) by Tracey Lee <— Amy recommends this deal saying: “If you have not read this awesome book then please pick it up!” and Maria says: “Reading it now …all I can say is wow!!” and Jennifer too: “Yup…me too…wow!”.
  • Shattered Hearts Trilogy Boxed Set (Omnibus Edition) by Cassia Leo <— the whole bundled series!!! (thanks Kandace!)

The Perfect Game IS angsty. Like the kind of angsty that makes my tummy turn in on itself and makes me break out in splotches. I remember that very well. ;) The Game Changer is good, too!
