IMPORTANT: Did you guys SEE Sunday’s “Suddenly Sunday Surprises!“?!!! <—- AND —-> Monday’s “More earlybird book releases” SERIOUSLY. The last 3 days have been INSANE with awesome book releases. It’s as if many of our favorite authors skipped this week’s usual “Tuesday” release day and came in a day or 2 early, so consider those two lists up there, a MAJOR part of TODAY’S list. Hey I’m fine with it. 3 days of awesome releases instead of just one? I’m on it!!! 😀
My own personal *squee-blurbs*, out of these 3 lists? SO MANY that appeal to me, but I’ve narrowed it down here into this mini blurb-jolt list: Two forbidden romance books (Sins of Sevin and Blow), one older woman, younger guy and a marriage in trouble (Bereft), MC Chronicles: The Diary of Bink Cummings (not a new release, but it’s being pronounced as one of the best MC series ever!!), Badger (recent release that my fellow readers jumped on and went CRAZY for <— THAT IS MY NEXT READ!!), Suit (Jettie Woodruff’s latest psych-thriller!), and Love Burns (Caged Love Book 2) by Mandi Beck (and I know a few of you right here just loved #1 —-> Love Hurts (Caged Love Book 1. Toni says: “I read Love Hurts by Mandy Beck, OMG I couldn’t put it down. I read it in less than 24 hours and I work 9 hours a day with 1 hour of commute time total. The cliffhanger is absolutely insane. I am almost upset that I read it without the 2nd book being released, but not quite. I would recommend that to anyone who is looking for something quick to read. The prologue pulls you in, the 1st sentence alone pulled me in. Happy reading. “).
Happy reading indeed!!

- Sins of Sevin by Penelope Ward <— FORBIDDEN ROMANCE HOME RUN ALERT!!! Looks like this very recent release is loved! Heidi says: “Read SINS OF SEVIN BY Penelope Ward. It’s SO GOOD!!!” and Alicia agrees! “I just finished this and am still crying. Beautiful, angsty, sweet, and it kept me up past my bedtime!”
- Love the Way You Lie: A Dark Romance Novel (Stripped Book 1) by Skye Warren <— This series just had a brand new release (below) so the author put this one on super-sale!!
- Broken: Broken #1 by A. E. Murphy <— Tracey LOVED this and it sounds awesome!!! “I’ve just read Broken and Connected by A..E Murphy…both in 2 days, I couldn’t put them down. I haven’t cried over a book fr a while, and these definitely tear at your heart-strings! I have also never felt exhausted after reading about someone else’s fight, they really do have it all. Worth a read for sure x“
- Connected: Broken #2 by A. E. Murphy <— AND HERE IS #2 (THE CONCLUSION)!!!! 😀
- MC Chronicles: The Diary of Bink Cummings Vol 1: (Motorcycle Club Romance Novel) by Bink Cummings <— I’M HEARING ONE OF THE BEST MC SERIES EVER ALERT!!! This one has been recommended a ton recently so I posted the reading order, and MichelleS read one and LOVED IT!!! “I just read book one, because who can resist such catnip? not me… so… very much like M. Sheehan. Yes indeed. I LOVED it. I devoured book one in one sitting. It’s not super long so you can literally read it all in one day. It was so real. It’s supposed to be based on her real life story, and I can see that. He’s way way older (20 years) so that’s kind of weird. It starts with her being 30 and him 50 and he helped raise her so he’s kind of a father figure (rut roh). LOVED IT. Highly recommend it for MC Club fans.“
- The Bridge by Rebecca Rogers Maher <— Amy recommends this one! “Ooh! Have you read The Bridge?? It’s only like 80 pages but it is soooo good. I usually don’t care for short stories because it’s not enough time for me to get to know the characters, but it didn’t take long to care about the H and h in that one.”
- Suit: (The Twin Duo) (1) by Jettie Woodruff <— PSYCH THRILLER?!! JUST RELEASED! “I woke from a coma unaware that I even had a twin, and married to a man with two little girls. Although I fell madly in love with the children that I didn’t remember, I didn’t feel like I belonged with Paxton Pierce. I couldn’t be who he wanted me to be no matter how hard I tried.“
- Badger by C. M. McKenna <— This is that recent release that had me so excited and now? It’s NEXT ONE ON MY TBR LIST!! LIKE NOW!!! Tried and true now by some of my reading buddies, and plus!!! It’s from one of my fav authors (Cara McKenna) YES PLEASE!!!
Amy: I am so consumed right now with The Badger. Not even kidding. I’m at 70%, and I went in blind apart from the blurb so I don’t really know where things are going…and I *love* that, even if it is making a mess of me. I’m loving everything about this book. How, HOW has this book been out since August 31 and it only has 3 reviews?!?
Amy: Just finished The Badger. *blink* I can’t…it was… F**************ck. “Some anonymous a$$hole had shot a hole through my safe place’s head and skull-f*cked the security right out of it.” <——– A line from The Badger and pretty much what it did to me. Five stars, easy. I need a drink now.
Maryse: OHHHH YESSSSS!!! I knew that one sounded familiar… Cara McKenna’s new “name” and new style… he’s the vigilante super-hero. OMG THAT SOUNDS SOOOOO GOOD!!!! *happy dance*
Amy: Yes Maryse, you DO want to read it…you REALLY REALLY want to!!! 😉 Ladies, there’s nothing to be scared of with Badger…just go into it knowing it’s not a warm-and-fuzzies book. I wouldn’t even classify it as a dark read but it’s not a light read either. It’s just…real. Real life and real struggles. That’s all I can say without saying too much.
Jean: Oh sh!t Amy, I am only at 25%. I must say I love your reaction though!!! Makes me excited to see what I’m in for……
Amy: I’m telling ya, Jean…it’s not one of those you just set down and move on to the next book. We’re supposed to meet up with some friends soon to eat. *snort* I think I’ll be a little distracted. 😕 Oh, and just a heads up that there is an ew-ew-EWWWWWW scene a la James Cavendish and the red tide. You’ve been warned. 😛
Maryse: OMG I wanna read it bad now. BAD!!!!!
Grey: 50% into Badger. The feels. Such classic Cara McKenna… Raw, painful, almost real world abrasiveness. Definitely not putting it down!
Jean: Grey, I agree, Badger is unputdownable.

SERIOUSLY????? MARYSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY IS IT THAT MORE BOOKS COME OUT THAN I CAN READ????????????
OH AND GREAT LIST *KISSES*
*thud*
Right??? What to choooooooose… what. to. choose. Actually Badger. That’s mine! LOL!
But the Love Hurts one is tickling my romance fancy!!!
AND WHAT ABOUT Bereft????????? THEN THEN THEN *GASP* BLOW, SEVIN, EVERY WRONG REASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fear Us is a very dark read. Yep, I’m loving it, but ugh. She needs to kick him where it hurts even more. Over half way through and I can’t take my eyes away.
I’m going to pretend this overly awesome list of stuff doesn’t exist. I’m going to continue reading Archangel’s Shadow after I finish Fear Us, darn it! I will not squirrel. I will not squirrel!
Broken from this list is free right now you guys!
I’m reading Every Wrong Reason….started this morning and hard to read in work without sniffling and hiding from everyone!
Already bought Sins of Sevin, Suit, Love Hurts, and Wrong Number, Right Guy…..So many books, so little time! Excited about The Air He Breathes too!
Maryse, I hope you are liking Badger!
Tessa!!!!!!!!!! Squirrel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
https://giphy.com/gifs/christmas-squirrel-vacation-bBz7lJlf0PV3q
Oh YES!!! BROKEN and #2 both of those sound SO GOOOOOD. I need to add those to my mini-list. LOL!!!
Mini list, micro list, mega list, lists of lists…..it’s just neverending! Lol!
OMG! I can’t believe all these new books out! I’m going cray-cray just thinking about the order I’m gonna read them in. A readers nightmare, I say! (But I LOVE it!). First I have to finish reading The Disillusionist series by Carolyn Crane. These books are great reads…..actiony romance! SQUEEE! My favorite!
Nope, no squirreling. I really love the series, but the Archer’s Voice book fog killed my reading interest. Then, as I’m finally reading and enjoying a book, Fear Us is available (which I was wrong, I was at 81%), so of course, I had to read that! It was good and I really liked it, but I wish there had been a slower make up point. That seemed too quick. More of his suffering would’ve been nice. No, really, the dude seriously deserved it. BIG TIME. Oh, and I called him the wrong thing. It’s the cousin, not the best friend. I think the BFF is next.
I just want to announce, yet again, that Cara McKenna rocks.
Omg the detail and personal reflections and descriptions of just… Emotions, thoughts, her surroundings… are so real, and wonderful and tangible and I am a happy reader right now.
One of my favorite writers ever!!!!!!!
Example:
“The opportunity felt like spun glass, delicate and improbable, and I was afraid to do anything to jinx it, to bump it, to wreck it.”
How many time have I felt exactly like this? Something so wonderful has potential… And yet…
Perfectly described…
And this… She’s feeling… Happy. Content.
“I closed my eyes and hugged my purse to my middle, feeling the cool breeze on my skin, the warm morning sun on my face. I breathed in that comforting dryer-sheet scent mixed with the best smell there is – autumn.”
And I am right there with her…
And no matter how “dark” her emotions get, how out of control she once was in her life… She loves her sister so much.
““Hey, womb-mate.” I squeezed her tight, loving that perfumey whiff of her hair, loving her eyes as we parted, bluer than the cloudless autumn sky. I loved her so much. So much more than I loved myself.”
WOW.
I’m 73% into Sins of Sevin and I’m almost afraid to keep reading. What if more goes wrong? I don’t know if I can take it! Gah! My poor heart! The angst!
Yes, yes, yes Maryse! All of that! I just got the feels again just from reading the quotes!
Just read your comments on Cara McKenna – seems like it’s settled then and Badger will be my next read!
Oh Crap… That’s it. I’m going to quit my job, sew manatees and make blanket forts for my job from now on.
There is so much on this list… So. Much.
Maryse… Badger’s amazing…didn’t we tell you?? *hands Maryse, Manny* would you like a blue blanket fort or purple?
I don’t know what to read. I’ve added so many to my amazon wish list. Friday is payday…then I get my bi-weekly book allowance *giggle*
I’m hearing wonderful things about Sins of Sevin!
Grey that sounds like a promising course for your career! I’ll take one of each in pink, what are you charging?
Thanks Ela! Hmmm, not sure… need to make enough to cover my book budget haha!
I grabbed Broken (thanks Jean…because it was free…and I’m on my book restriction until Friday *grumble*)
Tessa certainly has my attention…a dark one, huh? I am in the mood for dark right now…
Oh… thank goodness you are reading Badger next. I just finished it this morning and Wow, just wow. Speechless and in awe…
Amazing piece of writing!
Grey… what shade of purple? 😉 I’ll take one!!! 😀
Lise… isn’t she AMAZING???????? I have been hitting some serious author-homeruns lately!
Yes Ma’am… Ms. McKenna is AMAZING and this one (Badger) is phenomenal.
I have been loving my most recent 5 star reads but this one is in a league of its own 🙂
Air he Breathes for some reason that has my attention. That is my DEFINITE read on the 25th. For sure.
Tessa I must catch up on the Guild Hunter books. I was recently skimming through the newest one.
So….. Mckenna. Her writing is great, but do any of you sometimes want more of the endings? Though haven’t read much by her.
I love the couple stories that intersperse When Harry met Sally. 🙂
I am going to need to hit the lottery so I can stay at home and read all this goodness. On the bright side, winter is coming (wait, that’s another book series I need to read) and if I one-click now, I will be all set!!! Then again, I am clicking enough for a small army!
Grey, I need a waterproof, extra cuddly manatee STAT! Get sewing because Every Wrong Reason is for sure going to be an ugly cry for me! And seriously, there are soooo many books out right now that I want to read – my tbr is exploding!
Can I have a green fort? And a purple manatee, of course. 🙂
Bev, I am liking Archangel’s Shadow a lot, but I’m almost anxious because I have the latest and I REALLY want to read that one.
Just finished Sins of Sevin what an amazing book. It’s a roller coaster of emotions!!! <3 <3 this book!!
*crawls out of her purple blanket fort*
I would like to announce: I am actually reading the sex scenes in this one. Even the SEX scenes are awesome and interesting…
well the first couple were hard… er… um. 😐
*crawls back into her purple blanket fort*
I have totally skimmed thru the new one. Nassir had to check him out. Though not sure where in the series I’m actually am.
Am I the only one who sometimes starts to skim to just take a peek and then have a hard time going back and actually reading. You mean to just take that peek but keep skimming on and end up with a full outline of the book?
Bev! No, no, no. I definitely do not skim. I sometimes don’t even read the blurb and go in blind as a bat. No skimming. Where’s the no octupus when a girl needs him?
😀
Ha!!! There he is! That’s right…uh uh, no, no no
Thanks Maryse.
Oh, look who popped out of her purple fort to help you Fabi.
Lol.
Hey, Maryse know what book has sex scenes you wouldn’t skim? Written in Red.
*snags Maryse’s ankle before she crawls back in*
So…which book are these hard scenes in? *innocent blinks*
*snort* bev… you crack me up!!
That’s ’cause there are NO sex scenes… right? Am I right? Tell me I’m right. 😛
*although truth be told, I don’t mind no sex scenes at all, as long as there’s longing and intensity*
fabi!!!
“Badger” by Cara McKenna who rocks my book world.
*snort* thanks…was curious
Lol. Yes you are right.
Longing. Hmm. Well he thinks she makes a good squeaky toy.
I do want to read Nassir’s story. He’s so sweet loyal, childish, yet weird and adult. I like him!
I’ve done the skimming thing then kicked myself. Worse, I jump skim. Skim the end, skim the middle… basically piece it together. In the end, though, I never consider those books read. I just grumble to myself.
The squeeky toy thing was cute! Super-duper cute!
Tessa, nope don’t consider it read either, until i actually, if do, go back and read the book. Also makes me grumble at myself.
Unless it’s a re read. I skim my comfort reads a lot. 🙂
So many good ones! I’m also starting Badger, Maryse! 😉 Yay for us.
YAY MARIT!!!!! Tell me what you think when you’re done!! 😀
Oh yes… the blanket forts can be any color…and all the manatees are waterproofed.
I’m going to try and wait until Friday to start a new book… must resist temptation… *smacks own hand, closes Amazon tab*
Touch Me Not, An Unexpected Connection, Hidden Scars, Vice, Flames, Wrong Number, Right Guy, Broken Love series, Zeke’s Rule, Sinful Desire and Fahrenheit are ALL peaking my interest.
I don’t skim books. Ever. Most of the time I go in blind, other than reading someone mention a book here… I will skim a post sometimes because I don’t want to read spoilers. And most importantly, I definitely don’t skip sex passages *giggle*
Happy Hump Day all!
Maryse, Badger is definitely the definition of a dark, anti-romance read- I get what that means now- I’m at 90% and chewing my nails wondering how this can end!! I’m all over the place with thinking how it should end and how I wish it could end!!
Next, it’s Every Wrong Reason, figured I’ll be crying after finishing Badger, so may as well just hang out in the blankie cave all day hugging manny.
Then, noticed a new book by Melanie Harlow(Frenched series), Some Sort of Happy, her books are usually lighthearted reads. Breaking Tackles looks good too! 😉
Ok, finished Badger. Let me see if I can type thru my tears…wtf!? No words, just…what??? What a sad story about a majorly screwed up person and the ending…I don’t know…it’s too early for a glass of wine…think I’ll go for a run and try to get my head on straight to start crying, I mean reading Every Wrong Reason.
Grey! You should charge at least $50 a pop!? That would maybe cover your budget but then you’d have to listen to the books so you could saw!
Badger is sooooooooooooooooo hitting my radar but I’m scared of the no HEA…..
Ela DO IT!!!!
Broken by A. E. Murphy—HOLYYYYYYYYYYY CRAP!! Fantastic, and weird, and angsty, and so sad. Can’t wait to get started on the 2nd one! Worth a read you guys!!!
I’m VERY excited about the Rosanna Leo book. VERY.
i read Willing Victim last night and LOVED every minute, still scared to read Badger though
Badger is scary, in that, it hits every emotion and some repeatedly. Dark, emotional read!
Started Every Wrong Reason. Have to say it tugs at the heartstrings, but I’m not crying at this point…it’s manageable…I feel their frustration and ambivalent feelings.
*crawls out of purple blanket fort*
*sob*
*crawls into most populated blanket fort…*
I need hugs. Badger… my heart.
*goes in and huggles* Here, I found Manny. *hands her Manny, patting her back*
*snuffles Manny AND Tessa’s sleeve*
*sob*
*opens fort flap and throws in boogie wipes*
*waits patiently outside fort for all boogers to be cleaned up*
Oh you guys… I just realized… that’s HER on the cover. VERY COOL…. look at all of the other “badgers” around her…
at least I think. 😉
Tee hee fabi!!! 😛
*wants to snuffle fabi’s sleeve badly*
*looks at her sleeves and shrugs* Here, a tissue.
Funny part is, I’ve been around so many kids, it doesn’t even phase me.
I’m gone for a couple of days (migraines suck dirty monkey balls…seriously) and I miss all of THIS?!?!?
Maryse is reading BADGER????
WOOOOOO-HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Oh wait…oh crap…Manny is being passed around so I take it you finished, Maryse?
*opens arms up*
Need a snuggle?
Okay, and I’m dying to know…what did you think? I’m STILL thinking about it days later. Gah, I loved it!! And the cover with all the badgers does make total sense at the end. 😉 *sigh* And here I thought I was past the strongest emotions that it brought out…
5 fabulous stars Amy. I might even say this was her best to date. Seriously…
And yes I SO NEED SNUGGLES!!!
*snuggles Amy’s head*
I’m sorry about the migraines Amy… headaches make me feel sick.
Alright, one more note before I go back and check out the list up there and all of your comments…
I missed y’all soooooo much!!!!!!!! 😀
Awww Amy SO sorry about your migraines. Glad you’re feeling better and back with us here.
Okay I just posted my review of Badger!!
https://www.maryse.net/books/book-review-badger-by-c-m-mckenna.html
Thanks Maryse and Fabi. *group snuggle* Migraines are awful BUT there are so many great meds out there that I shouldn’t complain too much…although I think the back-to-back migraines warranted a little bit of whining for me. Okay…whine-fest is over! 😛
Okay, now I gotta go check out that review…oh, Badger…
Winefest is over? And I missed it?! Waaaaa
Ooohhh, you said “whine” fest.
Sorry, I tend to have a one track mind which is often in the gutter track. 😉
Ms McKenna it is then. Should be reading my Bookclub book….Girl on the Train but you’ve all twisted my arm….
im scared! Runs into new pink fort, thanks Grey, and hugs knees to chest rocking back and forth*
Fabi, I know you like the wine.
https://smartbitchestrashybooks.com/2015/09/books-and-wine-books-and-spices-books-and-more/
Want to read The Bollywood Bride & like the cover.
Those are cute Bev. Would look good on my wine rack. Lol
First line Thursday:
“Kensington! Come downstairs! Your sandwich is ready!” (I know, more than one line, but it seemed incomplete without the whole thing).
Wild Reckless, by Ginger Scott…..omg, Owen is such a jerkface….i love it…heehee!
oh, I almost forgot about first line Thursday. I didn’t get to play last week since I wasn’t reading anything. Thanks for the reminder Jean.
“Lip gloss finally applied, I blew a kiss to the visor mirror and climbed out of my new Jeep Wrangler thoroughly ready to get asked to prom by Josh Hutchinson.”
Broken Symmetry by Dan Rix
I like that first line fabi!
By the way guys, I finished Every Wrong Reason and I just didn’t have the reaction Maryse did. I mean, I could totally relate to their issues, but I struggled and seriously could not stand Kate! Ugh, she was just so annoying! I’m probably in the minority or just in a weird funk…..though I did love Nick and Annie, the dog! Lol!
I’m afraid I might not have that reaction as well Jean, cause most of the books in that genre HAVE to be Very close to Arsen or the City Scape series, other wise cheating books 🙂
Amy, glad you’re back with us and the migraines are gone!! 😉
Jean, I’m 75% in Every Wrong Reason, and I’m not having Maryse’s reaction either. Yes, what they are going thru is sad, but yeh, I keep thinking Kate needs to grow up and realize what she sees as big problems are not really and that Nick keeps trying to tell her he’s not going to give up.
First line: Reasons He’s Wrong for Me. 1. He’s the most selfish person I know. Every Wrong Reason by Rachel Higginson.
First line Thursday:
“He was more painfully handsome than I’d Remembered.” Sins of Sevin, Penelope Ward
I think this quote of Kate’s from EWR says it all for me: “I hadn’t realized it until now . Which seemed silly, but maybe I was too caught up in the moment to see the bigger picture.”
Yep, that’s a good one Cheryl. I did like the book from like 75% on, but yeah, Nick deserved better, IMO. (Ela, no cheating in this one). And hey, Sins of Sevin is next for me! I love Penelope Ward!
Sorry about those migraines Amy. *hugs*
‘Seven months Naasir had been hunting.’
Archangel’s Enigma by Nalini Singh
I picked the actual first chapter, not the prologue, because, yeah, they are both that boring of a sentence, but the other one wouldn’t be if you read the fifth book. It’s a HUGE spoiler.
I’m gonna avoid Badger. Seriously, this much sad and crying, I’m NOT doing it. You all tricked me into Bright Side, but nope. No crying for me.
Tessa, I take all these sad book weeks to catch up on my PNR and sci-fi reads. 🙂
There are a lot of good ones I’ve read recently. 🙂 Then again, I finally went into contemporary mode, and I read a book fog one. I can’t read the same genre right after a book fog. It just makes the next book bad.
Sins of Sevin started getting bumpy for quite a while for me….phew, we’re back on track to being a good book and let’s hope it stays that way!
The first line on Thursday.
‘The Phone rang in the middle of the night. ‘ – Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews
Many of you who directed me to Kate Daniels series, THANKS!! I love the story and love love MC and other supporting characters. Kate Daniels is kick A$$ and has great humor and wits. She reminds me of Charley from Charley Davidson series which is one of my favorite series. I still need to read the eight grave after dark.
First line Thursday… a freebie from a while back.
“In my experience, telling the truth very rarely sets you free; it weighs you down with an entirely new set of problems and therefore should be avoided at all costs.”
Hate to Love You by Elise Alden.
Man…this blanket fort making business sure is profitable 😉
Tonight is the season premiere of Scandal, so I doubt I’ll read much…
Amy, sorry to hear the migraine demons have been weighing you down. **hugs**
Maryse…. here’s my sleeve…I’m used to it, it doesn’t even phase me…
That’s a good first line Grey.
Hahaha fort making business
Tonight is going to be TV night for me too. I have recorded shows I want to watch from this week.
All these books is too much sadness for me. :'(
Did finish a book yesterday. Have not decided on what is next yet. We will see.
I just finished Sins of Sevin and really loved it. I was having doubts at one point and have an issue with one aspect of the book more towards the end but overall highly recommend it!
Fabi! Winefest and your mind in the gutter? You’re makin’ me proud! 😛
My first line is the same as Cheryl’s…and that is literally as far as I have gotten in EWR. Playing work catch up SUCKS.
I’m feeling migraine free and *fabulous* today! 😀 Thank you ladies for all the love!!
Finished Archangel’s Enigma. It made me do this. 😀
Alright, I’ve got to say, with my mood I decided to start Sweet Gum Tree. 🙂
Yey Tessa Sweet Gum Tree is soooooo good! Just loved that one as many others did.
I finished The Dark Ones and it was not good for me 🙁 I dunno, interesting concept but I never connected with the characters and didn’t feel anything…the story was just too rushed.
Just started The Air He Breathes so fingers crossed switching up from pnr helps get me back on track.
Tessa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved Sweet Gum Tree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m starting Badger!
Tessa, you well love SGT and Ela, you will love Badger. I’m reading Wild Reckless….reminds me a little of FCH…..or Fallen Too Far.
Michelle, let me know about The Air He Breathes…it just appeared on my Kindle today and I really like the cover for some reason.
Love when the boss is away and basically the whole city has shut down here because of the pope….perfect reading day!
That’s awesome Jean!!!!!!!!! My mom actually went this morning with her Church group to see the pope in PA I believe???
Oh and I better love Badger cause I saw that non HEA and it scares me!!!!!!
Yep Ela, Pope comes to Philadelphia tomorrow. I live in the suburbs outside of Philly, but it’s like the entire state has shut down!
Oh cool. Total reading time then for you, Jean. 🙂 I am loving SGT. I’m 30% and kinda scared of what’s to come, but I’m invested in the characters. .
Yay Tessa!
Tessa!!!! *squeals and claps hands* You’re reading one of my favorites!! We’ll be here when you get to, um, a certain part that might give you a good whollop. 😉
And Ela is taking the plunge with Badger?!? Woo-hoo!!
*sigh* I keep hearing how much y’all love Wild Reckless, and I have no idea why I keep putting it off. Jean? Will I love it?
And Michelle, keep us updated on TAHB ’cause I’m *really* curious about that one!
Amy, yes. You will love it. I’m loving SGT so far, only 30 percent though, ugh. I knew from the blurb but still, ugh.
Michelle, too bad about Dark Ones. Maybe pressure to do something different messed it up, because she’s usually a go to when it comes to great characters.
Thanks, Tessa! I saw Jean’s comparison to FCH and FTF so my interest in it has been piqued again.
I can remember at LEAST a couple dozen details and scenes from SGT, even though it has been a while since I read it…like the brawl in the parking lot that ended with someone getting bit in the leg, LOL!!!!
0.0 That’s gonna happen? I’m at the erm, after graduation part. I feel like smacking her upside the head.
I can’t remember exactly when the parking lot fight takes place, but I remember it made me snicker. *sigh* I wish I could read it again for the first time…
Hmmm… SGT is like FCH??? I could be totally in…
SGT is definitely not like FCH. It’s good and angsty, but nope. Wild Reckless is like FCH. 🙂
Amy, if you want to read it for the first time just read The Deborah Smith book!
Bev…I thought of APTCH right after I posted that! I moved it to the top of my library so it will be one of the first books I see when I go back in there. 😉
Sweet. Be very curious as to what you think.
i just finished Badger! Loved it! I laughed and I cried. Totally made sense, that ending!
Hi,
You NEED to mention that Bink Cummings NEW BOOK OUT TODAY!
Beyond Her Words! Already HUGE 5 STAR RATINGS!!!
🙂
