Lauren: Saw Love Hurts on the list…..it is a MUST READ!!! I’d say, hands down my favorite book of the year so far. I’ve been making my “Favorite book list” to send for Maryse’s Saturday post & that was the first book I put on it. Anyone who hasn’t read Love Hurts…..please please read it!!!! It was one of THOSE books for me. I couldn’t fathom reading another book after I finished it. I stalked the author & found hundreds of other readers in the same boat I was in. Just couldn’t stop thinking about it. Oh, how I love Deacon….he does this thing where he flips Frankie’s wrist & kisses the inside, he’s done it since they were kids & it just melts my heart every time. It’s not an ugly cry book, just really, really awesome.
I’m finishing a book that I’ve pretty much cried through, from start to “almost-finished”. It’s been an awesome read, but my heart aches. BADLY! I’ll be reviewing it tonight. 😉 I didn’t record myself, ’cause it would have just been a big red-nosed, puffy-faced, ugly cry fest and nobody wants to see that. LOL! But! Wild Reckless by Ginger Scott <— BULLY BOOK ALERT!!! I’m bringing this one back ’cause it’s still on sale today and SO many here are loving it just like I did!!! YAY!!! That makes me sooooooo happy. Tessa: “I finished Wild Reckless. *big grin* Definitely a 4.5 star read. It has a jerk, a sassy heroine, the jerk actually causing her big issues, tons of great side characters and me grinning big like this. 
I only wish the “hate” period to “Love” period had taken a little longer to really get there. However, it is just a preference…” and JenC: “ …especially Wild Reckless. Oh, and yes, I’m loving Archer’s Voice. He’s so sweet and she’s genuinely nice. I like that.
Oh some sad news. Jackie Collins passed away due to breast cancer. *frowns* I read her books like they crazy when I was younger, especially the Lucky books. They were pure scandal and mafia joy for me.
I heard that about Jackie Collins. Never read her books but do remember watching the made for tv movies. 😀

I’m a big fan of SEP’s Heaven, Texas. Bobby Tom & Gracie! Great side characters, quirky town. But Ain’t She Sweet is nice for those who like the bad girl coming back home books. She does tend to put her heroines through the ringer, though. Kind of known for that, lol.
Tessa, not so much a fan of her very early books. They are really different, to me, of the rest of her catalogue. Almost in that Collins or Steel mold. Just not my thing.
Okay so which SEP book is the best in both of your opinions?

My first was Nobody’s Baby but Mine. It’s premise has the heroine deciding to do something horrible, lol. Yet I remember liking it so and it set me on my SEP glom.
But there are so many i like very few i didn’t enjoy. And of course the two I mentioned above. And Kiss an Angel. *sigh*
DAMN THIS BOOK that won’t let me stop crying… will it ever stop? I swear I’ve been reading it for days ’cause I can’t see through my tears…
and crying makes me sleepy.

Tessa, the girls in that book were beyond adorable. Like i said very few I haven’t liked. Haven’t read that one yet either. I was a tad disappointed in Ted’s story. Honestly he needed to apologize a bit more for me, the town too.

I am 66% into Transcending Darkness by Airicka Phoenix and it is un-put-downable. I’m not ugly crying, yet, but there are moments where I feel like I can’t breathe. The H is so alpha, but tender, but aloof. I want him here in my life right now. And he has an Irish accent. Killian. Ugh I love him so much it hurts.
I also loved this author’s book The Voyeur Next Door. That one was very different. Loved it.

I know, Cheryl…they’re both a mess but in different ways and for different reasons. You know what I really appreciated was the self-awareness of Adrian and Badger, with both of them knowing why they were *where* they were in their lives. It didn’t really make things any easier but at least they weren’t making excuses, ya know?
Yep, Amy. They, especially Badger, make no excuses for the way they are and I think b/c of Badger, Adrian is becoming more accepting of how she is not “normal.” They do compliment each other. I get the anti-romance aspect now too.

I bought it, but haven’t read it yet. The Archer’s Voice fog is pretty strong. I decided on a library book for now, since it’s due soon. Archangel’s Shadow by Nalini Singh.
You know what’s funny? I’ve never had a Kindle (or a Nook). I had an eReader I paid a fortune for at Radio Shack many years ago. But I never even used it. I went straight from books to my phone and iPad and even read on my laptop/PC sometimes. I’ve looked at the Kindles many times…but…I’m addicted to my phone. Seriously…I think I need an intervention.

I pulled Broken Symmetry out of my tbr and so far I love it, even though I’ve only read a chapter. I kept thinking of you and that this may be your type of book since you don’t mind YA and read lots of PNR.

Oh not at all. I’d say read that one first if you can. Archangel’s Shadow can be read as a standalone, of course. It’s the same series, and the couple in Angel’s Blood literally makes me swoon with their romance. 😀
