Jean I did!! I loved it. I loved the first one more, because the banter between the two was hilarious and he was so moody and yet kept stealing her food. LOL! Anyway, I loved that couple the most, but #2 is GREAT too.
Oh and I WISH I had off for the summer! So jealous….
Oh good Maryse because the 3rd book sounds great too, but I have this “thing” where I have to read the series in order even if they are standalones! I loved the first book too, except I remember the slow burn killing me!

I clicked and the link took me to Holly Black’s WK book which isn’t due out until January 2019. The book up above is Holly Black’s title and link but it’s a different author. So yes, my heart sunk because I really have to wait till January.

Bev – I actually watched Set It Up last night with my daughter (who is 21). It wasn’t bad – – but not as good as I was hoping for. It had a cute premise but just really never wow’ed me. We both really enjoyed the Kissing Booth (also on Netflix) so you may want to check that one out.

Well, I’ve just finished Lying in Wait. My mouth dropped at the end. It was a very well written, engrossing read. I kept thinking these people are completely nuts throughout. And even though it was predictable, it still felt fresh to me and I was thoroughly invested in the characters. And I’m mad for them.

I am determined to keep up w/it.
I’m currently reading Blood Match. 🙂 I had that one pre-ordered as well as Iron and Magic. If you want to read Blood Match, you HAVE to read Blood Type first. The first was really good, so I’m hoping the second is even half that. 😀

Awesome! I was torn today. It is even worse. My favorite game, Guild Wars 2, just released a new episode today. Each episode means more storyline. Sadly, something happened and it kind of broke the game. lol So, though I really want to play it, I can’t. I’m just waiting for it to be fixed now. But, game story, new Ilona Andrews, and new KA Linde PNR… That’s insane for one day!
Leslie I’m with you and like the look of both Getting Schooled and The Problem With Him too. I liked the other Opposites Attract books too, but I’m on the ‘book 2 was better than bk1’ team. But I liked both and hope this one is a goodie too. I didn’t know this one was coming. Nice!

How have none of us read Crazy Rich Asians?
I keep seeing it every where because of the movie, usually at least one of us reads the popular book.
I’m reading a perfect “summer read”. It’s a time travel romance. She’s an antique store owner who finds a photograph she’s drawn to. She gets thrown back to 1912 Charleston & is the wife of a broody, well off man who hates her. She wants to get back to her fiancé in 2017. Really good story so far! It’s called The Surviving Trace. It’s got the formula I love: feisty girl, brooding man. Yay.
And I love the cover. Not that it matters, but… you know…. I’m shallow like that! No abs, no beard, no man bun.
I read the sample a few weeks ago, but there was a lot going on just in that little bit and I couldn’t focus/wasn’t in the mood at the time.

Yours sounded really good too, I’ve downloaded the sample, Michelle. But first, I’m making myself stick with Providence. It is a little darker and more serious and I just got done with a thriller, so I wasn’t sure I could do another in a row, but I want to finish it. And I am into it, it’s early though.
My daughter’s friend texted me today. She doesn’t get calls or anything yet, so I was pleasently surprised. She called herself her bff. Lol And my daughter was so excited, they were on the phone for over an hour. Playing computer games and what not. I’ve had to tell her a couple times now it’s time to join the world of the living and no more talking on phone or in text form today. Totally reiterates why she doesn’t need a phone until she gets her license. I’m still happy for her, but geez!
Robyn! Agreed 100%!! I freaking loved the first two Sloan brothers books (didn’t read the older brother’s book yet). That scene in Every Which Way in the coffee shop parking lot, with both brothers, where sh!t got real, and then the McDonald’s parking lot right after…GAH!! I’ve re-read those scenes so many times.
bev…Netflix sucks. Hulu is better. Yet I can’t bring myself to cancel Netflix because what if I miss something? Besides, hubby loves Stranger Things and would be SO mad at me. *giggle*
