- Savaged by Mia Sheridan <— Mia Sheridan‘s latest release and we have FEEDBACK!! 😀
Mona: I just finished Savaged by Mia Sheridan and it was awesome!! It had a Transcendence (Shay Savage) feel to it, but more Mountain Man than Caveman. I don’t want to give anything away but trying to figure out who, what, where, when and why of him being alone in the wilderness. It definitely had a twist I did not see coming!
Linda: Mona I’m 70ish percent in!! Loving it really hard and emotions for Jak have been all over the place!!
- Juniper Smoke (Smoke Series Book 1) by Sadia Ash <— FREEBIE ALERT!! I don’t know for how long, but jump in!!!

- Every Last Breath (Final Hour Book 1) by Juno Rushdan <— MYSTERY THRILLER ALERT!! Theresa is loving this one!!
Theresa: Might want to look at Every Last Breath by Juno Rushdan. I believe this might be debut. I am terrible at reviews or explaining books. Only about halfway thru, but wow, she is highly intelligent author. It’s suspense, mystery/thriller, romance, spy/ex military/special off books government. I get tired of same old storylines.

Maryse Ayesha At Last came out today. Well, its American release. Looks so good.
How am I always the first lately?
This is sad……and also…..hehehehe.
LOL!!!
*twirls in bev’s glitter bomb*
I’m adding it!! Thank you bev!!
Morning! 😊
Bev, you beat me this a.m. as I was up early driving my son to train station. He is en route as I type to New Orleans.
I wish I was on a train to New Orleans.
We could all go and have beignets and chicory coffee.
We could listen to Maryse’s new favorite song as we go.
https://youtu.be/tyRdnHXv0D0
We get it Maryse. You love us.
I would LOVE to go to New Orleans with you guys!!! I might even take a Keto-catastrophe bite of that beignet. 😉
Count me in.
Btw Bev, it was just a train to Boston, then flying to New Orleans. Flight was 3.5 hrs. When I talked to my son last night he said “it felt way longer”. Sounds like he’s not a fan of flying.
Maryse, have you watched Always Be My Maybe on Netflix?
I think I’m going to finally watch it tonight. Apparently Keanu has a great cameo.
I haven’t watched it yet. I saw some buzz about it on my Facebook feed yesterday. I’ll watch it tonight. :D!!!
I have it on my list to watch too!
I’ve seen a lot of good feedback.
Oooh, I have Netflix right now and no clue what to watch. I’m gonna go check out Always Be My Maybe but what else is good??
I half watched Always Be My Maybe. Not because it wasn’t good, but because there’s always something going on and I couldn’t focus. I watched a few episodes of Dead to Me, that’s one I want to continue. When They See Us is fantastic. Lucifer is also fantastic. The last episode, I kept checking back to make sure that was really the last episode. I’m dying for next season! Roswell New Mexico, I’m really into. The Fosters. The Society, I watched a few episodes. I’m not sure how I feel about it. The OA is awesomely weird. Jailbirds was addicting. The toilet talking was ridiculous and funny. Good Girls is so good! Legacies was good, had that Vampire Diaries connection. When We First Met was pretty good. And Good Sam was ok for me.
I LIKE DEAD TO ME!!! I think i’m on episode 5 or 6? I need to continue… totally into it!
This is ridiculous. Where is everyone?
I’m seriously just going to turn the comments into my own kpop appreciation fan_wall.

Those nasty surprise worms when you shuck em- *shudders* have gotten me too many times, that I’ve sworn off it. And all those ppl who say it’s easier not to shuck em and just grill or microwave even, have no idea what they’re possibly cooking.

Hi. I’m here. *waves* Wow, It’s quiet today.
It’s winter down here in Australia and I’m gonna just sit in front of the fire and do some reading 😀 I’m reading a June book-of-the-month with a group on Good Reads. It’s a lovely HR called Love In The Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas. What a beautiful, romantic story. An English soldier in the bloody Crimean War who falls in love via a series of beautiful soul deep letters from a young woman in England. He comes home with ptsd, and she helps him learn to deal with life again. *happy sigh*
*sips hot chocolate* *wishes I had some marshmallows* 🙁
Lol. I’m melting and want ice.
Beatrice’s book, right?
I really want Cassandra’s book. She has been such a mystery.
*sprinkles magical marshmallows in Jan’s hot chocolate*
Oooh. Drink the magic mushrooms and then watch Always Be my Maybe with Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. Then tell us what it’s like
Ha ha ha. Mmm magic marshmallows. Yum. Thanks Maryse. I LOVE Dark Side of the Moon, bev! *starts crazily swaying to music inside head*
And yes bev, it is Beatrix’s story – the youngest of the Hathaways. You need to read it if you haven’t yet. Cassandra’s book is coming next – she and TOM SEVERIN!!!!! Whaaaa????? I can’t wait. Probably Feb 2020, i guess.
Marshmallows! I’ve recently found Smash Mallows and have been popping a couple in my coffee. I’ve not even eaten any yet. I’ve got strawberry, cinnamon churro, and cookie dough. What’s your poison? 😉
Never heard of these, just googled…
*wipes drool off chin*
I spotted them at the zoo of all places. And paid a ridiculous amount for 1 bag, but it was a treat. *shrugs* Then, I went to Kroger grocery shopping and they were right as I walked in! I was simultaneously excited and irritated I could’ve gotten them for a fraction of the price here at home.
Me either. I love marshmallows!!! Any treats with them too. I even like stale peeps when the marshmallow gets a bit stuff. 😉
P.S. Mine would be cinnamon churro for sure.
Oh my yum! I’d also do cinnamon churro.
So finished Rebel Born. SO GOOD! It had some major twists and it was pretty intense throughout the whole thing. And some major bittersweet parts. Ugh. LOVED IT, but ugh, those bittersweet moments.
I can hardly wait to start Rebel Born. I am re-reading 1& 2 to refresh my memory before I dive into the third book. This is such a great series. I am having a hard time putting it down and I have so much to do today!!
I hope you like it as much as I did. 😀

Hey MichelleS!
I’m commenting to you here about why your avatar is no longer working (in case you’ll see this comment faster via your usual account here). It’s because you’re now logging into the blog under a slightly different email address of yours.
I think you made a new account here under a different email address.
Log back in with your usual email address. The other new one you are using right now only has a total of 9 comments in the history of the blog (all new). Maybe just a single letter off when you tried logging in? So it created a new one for you?
Ahhh yes I see it!! You usually use the one with 85 in it (this one), but lately you’ve been using the one with 96 in it. That’s why you’re no longer seeing your usual account (and avatar) here.

I just made Alexa play me Night Moves. Ahhhh that reminds me of when I was a little girl and my family was having a grilling party in the summer with all their friends. OH YES.
Nostalgia….
I know, Maryse! Isn’t that such a great song! I miss all those old wonderful songs. Nostalgia is right!

Ohhhhh that one sounds SO good bev. Thank you for reminding me about the release. Let us know what you think. I’m always intrigued about cultural differences with arranged marriages and falling in love, and this one sounds like it will be angsty! And he sounds infuriating!

“Could this day seriously get any worse?” I screamed, throwing my phone onto the passenger seat in anger before slamming my forehead on the steering wheel and letting the horn sound a long and angry tone.

I don’t have one yet (I just finally finished Marriage For One). I was wondering why it was taking me so long to read and realized it’s over 500 pages.
AH. That would do it. 😉
I think my next will be either Where the Forest Meets the Stars or False Step OR Meet Cute OR The Wives. :D!!!
Where the Forest Meets the Stars looks interesting, and Meet Cute just looks fun to read. 😀
I just read Meet Cute and liked it. But it’s not as “fun” as cover implies. It is more like a regular CR than a romcom.
*hrmph* awww jammit.
Hey everyone! I have a friend who’s a little down. Anyone have any awesome (recent) feel-good romances you can rec? It doesn’t have to necessarily be a romcom.

Nay, I really liked Let’s Get Textual by Teagan Hunter. I’ll try to see if I can think of anything else.
Thanks, Leslie!
