<— Mists of The Serengeti. THIS is one of my most recent favorite books ever!!! You know it, ’cause I’ve told you (P.S. Here’s my 5-star review in case you missed it).
But now? It is being devoured and loved like crazy by my fellow readers. In fact, my own book-buddy R just lost her mind over it. So if I couldn’t convince you to devour it with my review, maybe R can. 😉
R: I am EXHAUSTED! WRECKED! DRAINED! My whole body aches from sobbing and laughing and forcing my lungs into submission. I haven’t slept and I’ve eaten every chocolate-ish thing I could find in the house, including a bag of leftover chocolate chips from Valentine’s Day.
I’m at 72% and dreading the impending book hangover like it’s the Apocalypse. IT’S AWESOME!!! Maryse, thank you for getting me. She said the magic words, “…it’s for those of us that love those Suanne Laqueur, Emma Scott, Renee Carlino type of epic stories.” Yes, yes, and yes. <3 <3 <3 Author Leylah Attar, you are a rock star. This book, people. All the feels. Literally.
Emma: Yay! I have this on my Kindle, ready to go…
Maryse: DO IT!!!!! :D!!!!
R: Yes! Do it!
Emma: Sorry, I’m just stuck at one line up there. *sniff*…<3 Maryse!!
R: Duh! I told Maryse I didn’t think I had book blurb catnip, but I have book review catnip! And Maryse nailed it!
Maryse: *happy wiggle*!!!! 😀 !!!!!! <3
R: This book hurts on a physical level. I’m just…gah…
Maryse: R. I know it!!!!!
Marina: LOVED, LOVED Mists of the Serengeti. Will stay with me forever.
Amy: OMG. Serengeti was beautiful. BEAUTIFUL. Heart-wrenching, sometimes difficult, and tear-inducing, but above all else it was beautiful. I can’t even think of what to read next. Another sure sign of a great read.
R: Mists of the Serengeti has had my stomach in giant knots the whole way through.
Amy: The epilogue. Oh, my heart. *clutches chest* GAH! I loved Serengeti.
See? SEEEEEEE???!!! 🙂 I know. I know.
And guess what? Yessssssssssss…. yes. 😉 I know you already know ’cause of the title of this post. LOL!!!! But it’s time.

I have had a love of reading, ever since I learned to read. In high school I read Gone with the Wind. My English teacher was so impressed & told me it was so hard to get students to read any book that long. I had read it more then twice!!! That was my 1st Epic Novel!!

Transcendence by Shay Savage is proof that with the right characters and imagery, you can make a great story out of anything. I ready this back last year, and I still think about it all the time! Oh geez, I was so excited I forgot to put my most epic read… I’d have to say I just finished the longest book ever a couple weeks ago… The Last Hour of Gann by R. Lee Smith. After that, I’d probably vote for the Harry Potter series, because I read them back to back as one book, as a bedtime story out loud to/with my daughter when she was younger.
Ive heard great things about this book but haven’t read it. It’s so hard to choose my most EPIC read, but I’m gonna go with It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover. Thanks for the chance, Maryse
Loved loved this book. And I almosted peed on my self . When they were eating with the tribe. And she was sitting in his lap. And the old lady gave her a bracelet.
