Hayley is looking for this one! Okay the only thing coming to mind is Mists of The Serengeti (but I can’t remember that specific detail – below).

I absolutely love this author, from her risqué, darker reads, to her exciting high-tension journeys (personal and otherwise), I absolutely LOVE her stories, and where she takes us, each and every time.

This one sounds like a lighter side of love… romance and paradise in the Greek Isles? YES PLEASE!!! Although it’s not without it’s angst, I’m sure. 😉 Which will only make me love it more!! read more

But now? It is being devoured and loved like crazy by my fellow readers. In fact, my own book-buddy R just lost her mind over it. So if I couldn’t convince you to devour it with my review, maybe R can. 😉

R: I am EXHAUSTED! WRECKED! DRAINED! My whole body aches from sobbing and laughing and forcing my lungs into submission. I haven’t slept and I’ve eaten every chocolate-ish thing I could find in the house, including a bag of leftover chocolate chips from Valentine’s Day. read more

Book Review – Mists of The Serengeti by Leylah Attar

Mists of The Serengeti

This was one of the most beautifully written, vibrant, touching and perfectly detailed stories I’ve ever read. I WAS THERE, you guys. I could see it. I could feel it. I could smell it. I could taste it. I was living it. And I never wanted to leave. In fact, this book had me sobbing, wholeheartedly, and that’s when I knew, I was connected, heart and soul, to these characters, and to this land. To their plight. To their roots.

Maryse: Okay I just want to announce that many of you (including me) will likely LOVE “Mists of the Serengeti” by Leylah Attar. I’m reading the ARC, it’ll be out in just a few days, and HOLY MOLY it’s exquisitely written and vibrant. And it starts off with a GASP!!!! I’m still only in the first quarter but yeah… this is one of ours. Like… I’d say it’s for those of us that love those Suanne Laqueur, Emma Scott, Renee Carlino type of epic stories. you know the type of book. Deep, and a grand journey of life and love for sure. read more

Okay guys. I just finished this one late last night, and cried my eyes out. Big fat ploppy tears that I couldn’t even see through, forcing me to take a break, but the minute I got a hold of myself, I was right back in. Don’t be scared. It’s an AMAZING book (I promise!!!! Okay? :D!!! ). This is definitely a 5-star read AND will absolutely make my TOP 2017 list. Oh HECK YES. In fact, I’ll be posting my review shortly, and I’m SO excited to release my feelings into words. read more
