YAY!! Today’s reader question features comedy romance books, and there are plenty of guesses below that sound like SO. MUCH. FUN!!! But I think the Facebook crew came up with the correct answer, and I’ll be sending a note to Suzy so she can pop in and let us know if they were right. 😀

So I asked them:

Suzy is looking for a book title… and tee hee!! Her description makes me giggle. She asks:

“Its a book about nurses and doctors she has a room mate. She gets IBS while going camping with him and on the road she runs into the forest he didn’t pack toilette paper and gives her his sock.”

Donna: … I am heartbroken

Julie: Donna – you have to read Carnage 2! The first Carnage tears your heart out and I think the sequel puts it back together.

Amy: I forgot to tell you guys what I thought of Carnage. Okay, where do I start…y’all saw what I said above but saying that I was emotionally exhausted is definitely worth repeating. The angst was there, especially in some parts, but it was more of an emotional rollercoaster for me. I started out having an anxious tummy because if things are that sweet and perfect in the beginning you just *know* something’s coming that’s gonna hurt. Then BAM, sonofawhore! That’s when I started getting emotionally exhausted. In a good way, of course. *giggle*

Things started looking up, some hot lovin’ was thrown in, and then…ohhhh, that was not nice to do to him. Not nice at all. *shakes head* You guys know who I’m talking about. But everything was better and all was right in the world and then…*gasp* What are ya thinking???? Arghhh! Really?? Why would you do that. *sigh* But then it’s okay again. Of course.

So, I’m about wiped out emotionally at that point and wondering what the heck else is coming, and then… No, no, NO!! WTF?!?!? Lots of crying. Lots of hugging my manatee. Lots of needing comfort snuggles…

Michelle: Oh Amy :( Carnage made me ugly cry too! I love those books though just for the fact that I was totally invested.

Solange: I just loved CARNAGE #1 and #2…2 a little more than 1, I have to say. I loooved the dialogues, the steamy scenes…and just everything about it. I am not familiar with the british slangs and witty humor, but got used to it at some point and just dove into the story. I have to say this story will stay with me for a looong time. it’s up there with Fifty Shades for me. For those of you who read it, i am teamCAMERON all the way, although I loved the strong and sweet bond Georgia shared with Sean. And the ending! OMG! Ok enough. Read this, people…you won’t regret it.

About book #1:

P.S. THIS ONE JUST WENT LIVE TODAY, TOO (Interim by S. Walden) AND OMG THAT BLURB!!!! —-(my mom just said… “Oh. My. God.” My thoughts exactly.——>

Just in time, ’cause I finished my latest read last night and I’m ready for another. I ended up choosing The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah from last week’s list due to the amazing reviews it was getting. Pricey (ouch!!) but so beautifully written and pretty fantastic overall, although extremely painful to read. I loved it though. Totally not my “norm” as it was a historical (in the 1940’s when the Nazis invaded France), but I LOVED The Bronze Horseman, and this had a similar feel. Just right! I’m writing my review later today…

But alas, I need to move on, and so maybe… I might choose one from THIS list here. Like maybe The Virgin Romance Novelist (I wanna laugh SO hard after the last book I read that made me cry…) or, Elements of Chemistry (jerk-face bully PLUS I’m gonna laugh + book hangover? YES PLEASE!!!), or The Story of Son (yep… I haven’t read it yet, can you believe it!??? And I have a feeling this will have an “old-school BDB feel…), or The Mad Tatter (’cause he’s the bad boy, she’s the good girl, but sounds like he’s gonna be ruthless in his heartbreaking with the whole… “I don’t do “messy”)… yep. Decisions, decisions…

Or maybe I’ll backtrack through my TBR and see what I’ve forgotten that I so desperately want to read. Anyone wanna remind me? Anyone? 😛

“Hi I was wondering if you might know the name of a book, I saw it on an authors page when she was posting about a disorder, all I can remember is she has a mental disorder, and the hero won’t give up even tho she try’s to push him away, before I could add it to my TBR my facebook reloaded and I can’t find it, I wanna say it’s a popular book”

8 NEW Early Bird Book Releases!

Looks like the last 24 hours has produced a few great looking new releases. So why wait until tomorrow’s main release list to announce ’em? Maybe you wanna read one now? Right? LOL! Plus I added a couple of surprise super-bargains AND… nine of tomorrow’s highly anticipated pre-orders:
