in Reading Order Guide:

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!!! We’re having a giveaway!! The author just released the duet conclusion early and we’re celebrating on the blog (scroll down for more details. To enter, just comment on this post)!! SQUEEEEEE!!!!!  Emma Scott says:

“…both books will be signed and given to one winner …Oh, and international!!”

<— NOT YOUR TYPICAL LOVE TRIANGLE but boy did it do a number on our hearts (in fact, here’s my review) ;) . And there’s finally cliffhanger relief ’cause book #2 (the conclusion) is LIVE!!!!! YAY US!!! :D

Jean:  I just finished “Bring Down The Stars” I am in awe of this book and can not say enough about it. I loved it so much definitely one of the best books I have ever read! I typically stay away from series unless they are all out as there is nothing worse than book torture waiting for the next one to come out and that is where I am at since book 2 is not out…

Jean: Just finished Bring Down the Stars by Emma Scott! Amazing! Yes, the cliffhanger is killing me but damn it was great! I’m in love with two guys!

R: I’ve had the Bring Down the Stars playlist on repeat lately.

Jenn: The torture of waiting kills me. I made the mistake of reading ” Bring Down The Stars” not knowing anything about especially did not know it was a duet and I’m still not over where that book left me…

Relief is just a few days away Jenn!!! ;)

About book #1:

I fell for Connor Drake. I didn’t want to; I fought against it, but I fell in love with him anyway. With his words. With his poetry. With him. The gentleness and beauty of his soul that speaks directly to mine. He writes as if he can feel my heart, hear its cadence and compose the exact right lyrics to accompany every beat and flow.

I’m in love with Connor…so why do I feel an inexplicable pull to his best friend, Weston? Grouchy, sullen, brooding Weston Turner, who could cut you down with a look. Fiercely intelligent with a razor sharp wit and acid tongue, he’s the exact opposite of Connor in every way, and yet there’s electricity in the air between us. The thorny barbs Weston wraps around himself can’t keep me away.

But the more time I spend with these men, the more tangled and confused my emotions become. When they both sign up for the Army Reserves during a time of increasing strife in the Middle East, I fear I’ll never unravel my own heart that sometimes feels as if it will tear straight down the middle…for both of them.

Hey Maryse, it’s been 10 yrs following you!
Anyway, is the angst on this one similar to “Thoughtless” Kyle kind of angst? Because if it’s? I’m on it…lol..
FYI…I miss those great, great books we used to read when you first strayed your blog…and I used to read every single Recommendation you gave…I still do, but I have to say I miss “discovering” those earlier books with you…lol…first time we all read J. R. Ward, J. Frost “Cat & Bones”, and then “ Thoughtless” by C. S. Stephens and on ans on it went….ahhhh good angsty-can’t-stop-reading era…anyway…let me know? And thank you for still being here and being amazing in what you do…the love of reading..

I loved Bring Down the Stars and have anxiously been awaiting the conclusion. I’m going to wait to this weekend to read it though, so I can read the emotional conclusion without the interruption of work. All of Emma Scott’s books are amazing. I think my favorite is In Harmony.

Love triangle? I’m in! ❤ It’s my guilty pleasure. Emma Scott is an amazing writer. Thanks for the chance!

Melanie October 16, 2018 at 8:44 AM

I don’t expect to win, I don’t have that kind of luck lol! I just want to say Emma’s ability to go back to her writing and pour her heart into this second book the way she has amazes me (I started it last night). Her resiliency and beautiful writing make her one of my favorite authors. I just can’t imagine the heartbreak she has been through.

Leslie M October 16, 2018 at 9:59 AM

My fave is Forever Right Now. But I also love Rush, Butterfly Project, Full Tilt, In Harmony and Unbreakable. Oh and duh, I just finished and loved Bring Down the Stars.

I would LOVE to have these beauties as they would look great next to my two other prized possessions…the only two signed books I own…Forever Right Now & Waiting for the Sun.

Ashley October 16, 2018 at 10:06 AM

I fell in love with Emma’s books when I first read Rush. My favorite favorite book by her though is Unbreakable – I’ve reread that one a bunch of times! Super excited for the chance to win!

Leilani October 16, 2018 at 10:41 AM

Full Tilt/All In was a great read. So touching and emotional! Keep writing Emma!

Michele G October 16, 2018 at 1:51 PM

Bring Down the Stars is my reigning favorite Emma Scott book…before that it was Full Tilt & All In. Basically, I’ve never read an Emma Scott book that I didn’t love!

BookLady October 16, 2018 at 7:48 PM

I have not yet read any books by Emma Scott. Her books sound amazing and I have added them to my wishlist. Thanks for the great giveaway!

Dana Fiore Stusse October 16, 2018 at 7:52 PM

Bring Down the Stars had me riveted from the get-go and I’ve been waiting, wanting and needing to see how this pull my hair, edge of my seat story is going to play itself out along with shedding more tears. Emma Scott rocked this one hard!

DanielleDaisy October 16, 2018 at 8:46 PM

I would love to win. My favourite book by Emma is Full Tilt.

Brenda October 16, 2018 at 9:23 PM

How to Save a Life is my favorite book by Emma. Thank you for the giveaway!

Nicole Sands October 17, 2018 at 10:59 AM

Emma Scott is an automatic one click for me. Her stories are so unique, and rich with emotion. It’s hard for me to even pick a favorite, but I’ll go with the first book I read of hers that got me hooked- How to Save a Life.
I’m currently reading Bring Down the Stars, and I’m loving it. I can always count on her to take me on a beautiful journey.
Thanks for the chance. I would love to add these beauties to my book shelf.

Kim Perry October 17, 2018 at 9:25 PM

This duet sounds really good! Thanks for the chance!

Robyn C October 18, 2018 at 4:41 AM

I’m going to have to say my favorite book is Rush. The one that started my Emma Scott obsession! Thank you for the chance!

Cheryl October 18, 2018 at 8:29 PM

Just finished this duet and loved it. I’m having a hard time picking my favorite Emma Scott book. Maybe Full Tilt or Rush. What is my favorite is her writing. No matter the premise, the words just flow beautifully and grab you and don’t let you go until the end. Such feels. ;)

Christy October 21, 2018 at 7:45 PM

Hi!! I’ve never read an Emma Scott book but these sound awesome! Thanks for the chance
