Theresa: Is the new Aly Martinez in the same world with her previous books? Thought I read something but can’t remember. Says stand alone but think it is part of Darkest Sunrise? Help please.

Aly Martinez: Hey lady, so…yes. This book takes place in the Darkest Sunrise world. But it stands on its own. Tanner Reese is Porter Reese (the hero in Darkest) little brother and Rita is Charlotte’s best friend. They are first met as side characters in the duet. <— UPDATE!!!!! THE DUET IS NOW COMPLETE (book #2 just went LIVE). I AM HOOKED on this author and now she just released a new duet!! This author is one of the queens of angsty duets!!!!! HOOKED I TELL YOU! I’ll definitely be reading this. 😀
Book #1 made Jennifer in our book crew lose it!!! She will finally get relief *snort* :P

Jennifer: This one is most definitely NOT fairytales and rainbows. It’s hard and sad and brutal with bits of sweet mixed in. If someone is looking for a happy read….this is NOT it! But man oh man it’s so gripping ….. I can’t seem to put it down.
and then…
Jennifer: I’m in tears, my heart is racing and now I have to wait until September 13th for the sequel. UGH. I’m dying….. These authors are killing me with these cliffhangers. This book RIPPED my heart out of my chest, put it in a blender then attempted to piece it back together alllllllll to be ripped to shreds again with A FRIGGIN CLIFFHANGER!
I need a blood pressure pill, vodka tonic and electroshock therapy IN THAT ORDER! read more

Teri has one for us!!! Oh wow this one sounds angsty as anything and if it IS by Emma Scott, you KNOW it’s going to be awesome.

She asks:

I’m searching for this book series and it’s driving me crazy!

I THOUGHT it was a 2 book series by Emma Scott and the first was called Falling Up.

I think it’s about a girl who was going to jump off a bridge and then met a guy. She had a gay best friend and the second book was his story.

I thought it was called Falling Down and the couple was maybe Marshall and Carter?? read more

<— FABULOUS OF ALL FABULOUSNESS!!! Fulfilling and exhilarating, twisty-turny, funny and traumatic!! How can that be? I dunno but she’s just that good. :P (P.S.
