Following Me

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! *runs around in circles tugging hair* K.A. Linde’s “Following Me” is out right now! I have a feeling it’s gonna be angstyyyy. If y’all were at my place right now, we could have our very own-angsty-marathon-pj party!! Okay just read that synopsis and you’ll know what I mean.

Just a couple of weeks ago, one of our fellow readers was asked us to help her find a book that matched a certain teaser she had read, but couldn’t remember which. The way she described it sounded AWESOME. It ended up being THIS ONE! And I also had a post entitled “Five fun facts about Following Me” and I knew I just had to read it. read more

Book Review – In the Stillness by Andrea Randall

In the Stillness
I received a review copy of this book, and since I’ve heard good things about this author’s previous work, I intended to give this one an eventual “go”. But after receiving two glowing recommendations by authors who’s books I’ve loved, and who’s opinion I respect, it immediately went from TBR soon, to “to be read now“.

Maggi: I just want to say that I have not read anything this brilliant in a long time. This book is life changing. read more

Reader Question – The book about the orphans who are in love… and he becomes famous!

By 20 Comments

Here’s a “help me find this book” question from Ana (and another that sounds right up our angsty-alley!)

Ana asks:

I’m sure you can help me! I read a synopsis not too long ago about a couple of orphans, who go through lots of things together and fall in love, once they are out of the system, she is forgotten (or feels that way) and he becomes famous over the years. Then they find each other again, she is pissed and he wants her back! Lots of drama and angst, I thought it was right up our alley, yet I can’t remember the name of the book! 🙁  Help! (one clue- it’s not Callum & Harper) read more

Never Look Back: Book Three of the Emi Lost & Found series
QUICK NOTE: Okay I think I did this completely spoiler-free (even if it is the review for the 3rd and final book in this trilogy). I think anyone can read this… safely. BUT!! I still suggest skipping this review and just jumping into book #1 without any idea of what you’re in for, IF you are up for some serious emotional turmoil. If you are open and game to some intense drama… (in a super-sweet-series format). Hrmmm… Yeah… if you’re new to this series, skip this review. 😉 and go here instead: Here’s my review of book #1 (Emi Lost and Found). read more
