A really good bad-boy biker book!! Exactly what I’ve been looking to read, since loving Kristen Ashley’s “Motorcycle Man” and Madeline Sheehan’s “Undeniable“. And the fun part? The author is one of our very own fellow readers that we all talk to on a daily basis. Surprise!! She’s been an author with books published by Ellora’s Cave for awhile now. Who knew!? Well, I sort of did, but I just recently found out. And she’s one heck of a biker-book enthusiast, so we really lucked out when she decided to take our plea for “more motorcycle club reads” into her own hands.

Book Review – New Life by Bonnie Dee
New Life
I was thrilled to find out that Bonnie Dee had just released another contemporary romance and after reading the synopsis, I knew it was for me, because of the unconventional nature of it. Considering how much I loved two of her other books (Finding Home and Bone Deep – both made my best of 2011 & 2012 lists), I knew exactly what was next on my TBR list, and I immediately emailed my friend Tina (who is also a fan) to let her know.

Book Review – Emi Lost and Found by Lori L. Otto
Lost and Found: Book One of the Emi Lost & Found series
Over the last month or so, my fellow readers have been devouring this series. Loving it, and at some point… sobbing over it. Sobbing is right up my alley! Er… in my book life, that is. I was SO in!
Unfortunately, I came across a little (okay big) hiccup of a spoiler, so… I *knew* things going into book #1, that I shouldn’t have known. For maximum impact and shock value (’cause y’all know I love book-adrenaline surges and sudden sob-fests) I would recommend you do your best to avoid spoilers/comments and any future book synopsis at all cost, with this one. I’m not going to tell you what happens. If it’s good, bad or sad. Shocking or titillating. If it’s a crazy dramatic reveal, or a big ol’ secret. I’m keeping mum, ’cause it’s a BIG part of the series as a whole. And I will admit that my reading experience of book #1 may have been biased, and I don’t think I experienced it the way I should have.

This brought me right back to my delightful little “escort” marathon that I had last year. Er…. I mean. READING. Reading escort BOOKS marathon. About escorts. *smirk* Hehe. And do you know why I always seem to love these? Taboo. Oh yes.. a little of that, and well, you know. It’s sort of a “forbidden love” situation, on it’s own, right?
