Following my heart, one book at a time...
The author also had a special message about another book to come in the series that she wasn’t expecting! She said:
Hello everyone, I promised you a big announcement tonight, and here it is:
I started writing Book 7 with every intention of telling both Merope’s story and Pa Salt’s story too. And then half-way through I actually realised that there was no way I could actually fit and do justice to both stories in one book.
Portia is looking for this author AND books (because she specifically wants to read the 3rd book now). Just enough detail about the first two books, and a tidbit about the 3rd, so hopefully someone’s memory will be sparked. :Doctor
She asks:
Hi Maryse,
I’m trying to locate the author as well as the book titles.
It’s three sisters each with their own story.
The first is about the middle sister who hooks up with her childhood friend/neighbour she’d had a crush on but she’d caught him what she thought was making love to her sister (she’d misunderstood the context).
Tooba needs our book help! Historical romance lovers, this one’s for you! 😀 Actually… I totally remember reading a book like this maybe in anywhere from 2009 to 2011? I remember the kidnap scene, and I almost want to say it’s a Nora Roberts book?
Or was it a movie I watched? The scene is so clear in my head, and I was so excited and titillated about that audacity! LOL!!!
But I haven’t read many Historical Romances so how could it be that I might have actually read THIS one? Now I’m dying to know, too!!!
Because… this story is. AMAZING!!!!!
Maryse: I need this to play over and over again. This movie will be one of my happy-places. I just bought it so I can re-watch it to my heart’s content!
Vanessa: Maryse, it’s one of mine too! I adore the whole movie—from the storyline to the setting to the characters…it’s fabulous from beginning to end!
Crazy Rich Asians <—-
