Christy needs our book help! Oh I LOVE reclusive heroes. Grumpy and brooding and easily annoyed, but also so protective. I love that slow burn dynamic!! This one sounds pretty great.

Ren is looking for this one! I love books about reclusive heroes!! I read one recently that had a similar feel to this… so I’ll submit it as my guess. 😀

I read a book about a man who lived in the woods but was accused of a crime.

The woman was watching him via a camera at the police station. She ends going to his house in the woods and he helps her find her parents car that crashed many years ago.
