 <— SO MANY LOVED this one (it made a bunch of “best of” lists) and I’m so intrigued by what everyone is saying about this hero, so I one-clicked it!! YAY ME!! And book #7 is up for preorder!!!

P.S. I’m pretty sure these can all be read as standalones (each about a different couple).

It’s a modern western written in the 1980s – probably only published as a paperback.

A cantankerous old man sells his ranch to a widow with children just to spite his neighbor, a well to do rancher. The land sold was part of the rancher’s original holdings and he’s angry about the sale and tries to buy the property from the new owner. read more
