This is a whole different “genre” for her  – at least from what I’m used to ’cause she’s usually got the darker-and-gaspworthy-twistier love stories going on. I’m so excited!!! P.S. Book Review – Riven by Lissa Del

You guys… OMG you GUYS!!! This author. She’s just MY thing, ya know? *ooooooomph!!!!*

Yes, you may not recognize this pen name exactly, but look a little further, and you’ll see it’s another form of THE “Melissa Delport” (remember?? Her book Rainfall rocked my world), and to this day, is still one of my #1 jaw droppers that continues to haunt me to this day.

And she’s just written another haunting romance. Total TOTAL love story, and true to her psychological intrigue, it had that *oomph* reveal that I didn’t see coming. The kind of thing that I had to analyze from both sides of the fence. And that I could TOTALLY “get” from both… angles. read more

Oh WOW! Now THAT WAS intense, and crazy, and exciting and heartwarming and heart-wrenching and soooooo…. wow. I have a lump in my throat. I think it’s my heart. It’s stuck! Unforgettable!!!

I had NO idea what I was getting into. None. Except for a few comments (some making me VERY excited to read this, and some… well. I misinterpreted a few and I’m glad they weren’t actual spoilers). *phew* Thank you to EVERYONE that did their best to keep mum on the actual contents of this book. Everyone that left a comment in my direction, y’all did so perfectly. I thought I might know too much (at first, going in), but I didn’t, and I got to experience this one in full. read more
