Following my heart, one book at a time...
The Woman by the Lake (Misted Pines Series Book 3) IS LIVE!!! This sounds SO GOOD! Haunted house + a grumpy neighbor is totally my thing!!! And to celebrate this release, Kristen Ashley is sponsoring today’s newsletter and she’s sent over a recipe I’m dying to try!! You’ll love this!!
Kristen says:
“…Nadia and Riggs’s story is YOURS.
For a sleepy town in Washington State, Misted Pines has a lot going down (and a lotta hot guys living there…as every romantic fictional small town should, obvs).
KRISTEN ASHLEY FANS!!! HERE’S HER LATEST SERIES & IT’S A ROMANCE THRILLER!! Each book is about a different couple, but all in the same “sleepy town” that might not be so sleepy…
Tangi: Such a good read. Loved it!
Elizabeth: Love her books
Andy: Can this be read as a stand alone?
Nicole: it isn’t related to any of her other books so yes. It’s fantastic, as is everything Kristen Ashley writes
About book #1:
Renowned author Delphine Larue needs a haven. A crazed fan has gone over the deep end, and she’s not safe. Her security team has suggested a house by a lake. Secluded. Private. Far away. In a beautiful area of the Northwest close to the sleepy town of Misted Pines. It’s perfect. So perfect, Delphine has just moved in, and she’s thinking she’ll stay there forever.
<— LUCY SCORE FANS!! Have you discovered this comedy romance mystery series yet? P.S. Book #4 is up for preorder and will be out in just a few months!!
R. Renee: I was given a paperback of Riley Thorn and the Dead Guy Next Door as a Christmas gift to introduce me to Lucy Score and I can’t wait to start it. It’s huge!!
Kathy: I actually haven’t read that one yet! Let me know what you think of it!
R. Renee: We should buddy read Riley Thorn!
Cece: Love this series! Each one just gets better!
Tasha J: …comedy with mystery, I’m obsessed with Finlay Donovan is Killing It
KM: Loved this one.
Mandy: It was a great read! Still need to read #2
Tasha J: I am 80% into Finlay Donovan Knocks Em Dead and loving it as much as the first. It reads fast, has me laughing out loud and rooting for 1 guy more than the other, can’t say which in case I change my mind. 😂 I don’t want it to end.
MYSTERY ROMANCE/THRILLER LOVERS REJOICE!!!
They ask:
Aimee: I recently read Kristen Ashley’s new book, the Girl in the Woods and also Mia Sheridan’s Bad mother. I am looking for similar books with the mystery or maybe looking for a killler but that also have a romance to them. Thank you for any help.
Cristina: Maryse, do you have a “Romance Suspense” book list? Books similar to Tiffany Snow’s books like the Kathleen Turner series and Corrupted Hearts series? Romance and action all in one?
