I absolutely LOVED this fun book! It’s freaking fantastic and for all of the reasons that we once fell head-over-heels in love with “New Adult” books. It’s got the “new adult” college insecurities, but with the engaging, smart and witty, yet VERY human characters. The mistakes made in search of having a good time, the consequences dictating their current outlook, their pasts that they are trying to overcome (but in this case… nothing TOO dark – just… “stuff” ya know? Stuff that we have ALL contended with). But best of all, it’s the awesome connection between all of the characters (old friends and new…). Lots of merging going on, but in a very organic, realistic way.

Kate Stewart – The Reluctant Romantics Series Reading Order
New release in this series!! It can be read as a standalone, but the author recommends reading the first two books before it. I absolutely loved another book this author wrote a few years ago (called Room 212, which she indicates also “compliments” this series). VERY COOL!!

Chelsea M. Cameron – My Favorite Mistake Series Reading Order
New adult angst from back in 2013!! When NA was still “new” and everything we craved in our romance, and Kim was really excited when she bought it saying:
“Just bought a new book called My Favorite Mistake by Chelsea M Cameron on Amazon compared to Beautiful Disaster – two college roommates that start out not liking each other but heres the best part he is a GUITAR PLAYING BAD BOY HOTTIE whohoooooo!”

benita: not sure if you have read it but “My Favorite Mistake” by Chelsea M. Cameron. It just came out and it is Fantastic , reminded me so much of Beautiful Disaster!! Hunter is sooooo much like Travis!!! They even have a bet!
What to Read After Paper Princess
Welp. Looks like I wasn’t the only one to fall hard for this poor girl enters rich-people life with bad-ass brothers/bullies (aka not HER brothers… but sort of 😉 ). It was pretty much every “guilty pleasure” that we love in new adult angst and drama! In fact, here’s my review. You’ll see, I BIG-TIME devoured it!!
The thing is… book #2 comes out in July (here’s the series reading order), and my reader friends and I are wanting more “like that” to hold us over until we get there.

All of the angsty/bully/bad-boy/Cinderella-story/OH-NO-HE-DIDN’T moments an unconventional romance loving girl could ever hope for! Oh my my my, my friends… this was SO fun. In fact, “cliffhanger ending” or not, if book #2 was out right now, I’d already be reading it. And now looking over my favorite parts, and my notes, I pretty much highlighted the whole thing! LOL!!!
I mean it’s not out-of-your-mind crazy or totally shocking-forbidden (even though it does have a few forbidden-y touches for sure). It’s just… this is the kind of series that gives you all of the guilty-pleasure thrills and furious-feels. From the witty, feisty heroine, to the brooding and and downright bully-ish brothers that she’s now stuck with, you will be hooked right from the start, and you’ll want to read it straight through.
