Following my heart, one book at a time...
YAY LESLIE M!!!! She’s been with us for years and years, chatting books, ranting and raving, and sharing her favorites. And here she is, checking in with her latest greatest finds. Thank you Leslie!!
Also, makes sure to check out our mini Leslie M book list below this one… it’s got all of her favorite book lists throughout the years (including audiobooks!!). She’s literally got her very own category on my blog called “Leslie Ms Favorites”
And now, without further ado, take it from here Leslie…
Mayluna: A Novel by Kelley McNeil <— In case you haven’t heard about this one, or forgot and are looking for something to read, this one is ROCKING READER WORLDS!!!! Just look at all of the love I’ve received via comments, messages and on my Facebook page!!
BLURB JOLT!! In fact, it’s one that I’m reading as we speak. How could I not, after reading these reactions, and Linda saying to just dive right in!!!! You had me at *no spoilers* 😉
“…Backstage euphoria. A long-shot interview. And an almost cosmic connection with an enigmatic musician on the rise.
Aimee is looking for more like this one! And ohhhhhh I have SOOOOO many. We were OBSESSED with rock star books wayyyyyy back when (it was all we wanted to read after our vampire obsession) and we devoured one after the next, squeeeeeing in delight with each one.
We were SO in love, each and every time… a new rock star book boyfriend.
She asks:
Rock star romance.
I recently read Rise and Reign by Cassandra Robbins and I am looking for books that are similar.
I want something that has the sex, drugs, and rock and roll type theme.
Lindsay’s Best of 2023 list is ready!! She’s been with us since 2017, commenting here and there (and helping us solve reader questions!!) but this is her first “Best of” list with us and I’m so happy to see it (and so thankful she sent it).
In fact, there are quite a few “new to me” books on here that gave me blurb jolts. YAY ME!! YAY US!!!
Lindsay: …trying to pick books that were published in 2023, but sadly, many of mine were published earlier, I just didn’t read them until last year.
Leslie is one of our long-time fellow book crew members and this is our first “Best Of” list from her since 2019! YAY US!!! I’m thrilled to present her latest!
Leslie M: Happy New Year! I managed to read 52 books in 2023 and wanted to share my faves.
R. Renee: That’s pretty similar to my list!
Leslie M: Perhaps because you are worlds best book recommender???🙂
