HarperMeet Harper everyone!!! She’s just started commenting and giving us recommendations as of this year, and she’s pretty active amongst our reader questions, too. 🙂 Welcome my friend!!!

What I’ve learned about her so far? She’s a BIG Christina Lauren fan (quite a few favorites of her below include their books).

She also enjoys short stories but will never 5-star them.

Ooooh I love where your head is at, Tammie. These are the exact kinds of stories that infuriate me (but suck me in and have me hooked). I love them ’cause we have to work for it!! YES!!!

Happy Thanksgiving Day Reader Request #2!!

Andrea is looking for book recommendations featuring THIS kind of heroine:

I love a badass heroine like most people, but I often get a craving for books about a less obviously badass sort of girl.

Can you give me some suggestions for romances that involve a sweet/shy/meek heroine. Bonus if the H is so mean or dismissive the h is crushed.

I’m okay with dark and paranormal romance in addition to the usual stuff.

I’m thinking an h attitude like in Luna and the Lie by Mariana Zapata or Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I appreciate any suggestions you have. read more

I’m a huge Outlander fan (and I love to cook!), so I was thrilled when I received THIS cookbook —> Outlander Kitchen: The Official Outlander Companion Cookbook!! It’s proudly displayed in my kitchen. P.S. I took that photo!! 😀

Okay so… I know we’re not a “cooking blog” but we often go off the book-rails in our comment section talking about life in general. And over the years, we’ve shared (and enjoyed) each other’s recipes, cooking ideas and favorite foods. Yep. We are TOTAL foodies here.
