But I’m looking for a book where she has 2 Moms, Mom and Moms and she goes to a school and her moms is involved on the board maybe?
But anyway, shes doing something and turns out Moms is cheating on Mom with a man, a teacher maybe and she gets super pissed and there’s school troubles on top of that I think.

Heroine is an abuse victim she lives in a worn down house and is very poor she is helped to settle in the small town by a priest and local woman.
She had been kept in cages and was abused when she tried to run.
Hero comes in the town and became her neighbour. Initially hero scares her but with hero’s help she starts to recover.
Kim is looking for this much older book! Ghost romance which I love!!!!

I read a book in the 70’s.
A woman was in her kitchen, then a cat would appear in her garden. She went out to see the cat and fuss it, and then a man in centuries old clothing appeared. She thought it was strange, he only appeared when the cat was in the garden.
Over time she did fall in love with this ghost in the garden.
Forgot to mention, when he appeared the garden reverted to it’s former glory as it was in his time.
Eman is looking for this book! OH MY GOODNESS this book sounds intense and heartbreaking and scary… and holy moly on the ending of this question! I bet it’s awesome so I’m dying to know it, too.

I have been looking for this novel for awhile now. I read it years ago but I don’t remember its name so help me out please.
The plot:
The heroine lives with a stepdad, who adores her, and a mother who hates her.
The hero either knows or a relative to the stepdad. She loves the hero but her mother ruins that for her by bad mouthing so the hero rejects her and she ends up wandering the streets one night because of his rejection. While wandering, she is raped and beaten up so badly that she requires a face reconstruction surgery .
Prottusha needs our book help! And this sounds like quite a case of unrequited love. And for some reason, this makes me think of “Ghosted” that I loved SO MUCH. But know that’s not the one…
