Anita needs our book help! Oh I LOVE reclusive broken Heroes and the heroines that soothe their souls!!

There’s one that I can think of (though I don’t remember if he was an enforcer) and that was Madeline Sheehan’s character “Dirty” in her Undeniable series (and we see his story with Ellie – though I don’t remember her being so much “sweet” as more like… a strong heroine). Still, this is my guess, or at least a guess with a very similar trope which is Unattainable. I LOVE this trope, and in fact, here’s my 4.5 star review of that one. 🙂 read more

Jan is looking for this one! Okay so it’s been a long while since I’ve read these, but I have two guesses!!

I’m going to guess Tina Reber’s Love Unrehearsed: The Love Series, Book 2. 🙂 Ohhhh the angst in this duet was OFF THE CHARTS… and yet the ultimate fantasy too.

Though this one was from 2012, so it just may be another book altogether? Like maybe even (though pregnancy details elude me) Alice Clayton’s “The Redhead” series.

HEAR YE! HEAR YE!!! HUGE NEWS ON THIS NEW FANTASY ROMANCE/FORBIDDEN LOVE SERIES!!

SO MANY in our book world are absolutely LOVING this new fantasy romance series by one of our favorite authors, Jennifer L. Armentrout. In fact, by book-twin Tasha J, just devoured the first two books in this series thinking it was a duet and now she’s dying for #3.

And guess what? We just got the title and approx release date news for #3! 🙂 But first… LOOK AT THIS BOOK LOVE!!!

Tasha J: I picked up From Blood and Ash yesterday and red until 4am only to get up for a soccer game at 8. By 1:30 I kept telling myself 10 more minutes, but I couldn’t stop. I now have to start book 2 today but I don’t trust myself to go to bed on time. Laura needs our book help! I have a scene in my head from a book from many years ago (like in my early-indie love days – 2012? 2013?) that reminds me of what she describes here, but I can’t put my finger on it at all. Something about a huge wall in the club, that moved or shifted, or had a hidden area… and I think she was dancing in a cage? It’s right on the tip of my brain. 😉

Either way, it’s probably not the one she was thinking of.
