Reader Question – A few questions about Kindle and Goodreads…

June 9, 2016 By Maryse 8 Comments

Oh here’s a different kind of reader question for you Kindle users. Since I use the app on my iPad, I was hoping someone here might know exactly how to help Brianna.

She asks:

Hi,

I’ve been reading your blog for a long time, mostly lurking in the shadows. I’m also a major reader, but until now have done that on the kindle applications as opposed to an actual kindle. Well, I finally took the plunge and bought one. It may just be the most awesome thing I’ve ever purchased. A device meant just for books makes my heart sing a little. Ok, maybe a lot. read more

Reader Question – Recommendations for student-teacher books with dom/sub qualities…

June 2, 2016 By Maryse 5 Comments

Recommendations request! Not just for some more student-teacher romance reads, but with a bit of an extra edge. 😉

Sohoshopper asks:

Hey! I really love this list, and I was hoping you could help me.

I’m looking for a student teacher book with some dom/sub qualities but not necessarily as deep into it as “A Good Student.”

Do you know of anything?

I’d almost say definitely Sylvain Reynard’s Gabriel’s Inferno Trilogy. No doubt he was a definite Dom in that relationship.

Anyone else? read more

Here’s another one that I brought to our Facebook crew, and YAY!!! It’s been answered. Sounds right up our alley, so I’m posting it in our “Reader Questions” section:

Shannon asks:

“OK so I once again need some help lol. I read a series a while back and for the life of me can’t remember the name.

It’s about a woman who meets a man who I believe is super rich through a photo shoot at work. In the beginning she has a bf. Her parents are a famous country singing duo I think. read more

Reader Question – The book about the heroine whose friend married her crush, and the best friend dies giving birth…

May 26, 2016 By Maryse 4 Comments

Nanette asked for help on this one, and I *THINK* KNOW IT!!! There’ve been a few in the last year that have had this theme, but since I just spoke of this one in the last couple of weeks, coinciding with this reader question, I’m thinking it’s THIS particular one.

I haven’t read it (yet) ’cause it’s on pre-order, but this was one that I want to read badly.

She asks:

Hey Maryse,

I read a blurb about a book on your website recently and can’t remember the title right now. All I do remember is that it’s about the heroine whose best friend married her ‘crush’ and the best friend dies giving birth to her child, I think? She then jumps in to help with raising the baby….Plse tell me the name of this book and Author?

Thanks a lot,

Nanette
