Reader Favorites – Theresa’s Top 10 Reads for 2015

It’s Theresa’s turn for a 2015 favorites list, and there are quite a few on here that I haven’t read (or even heard of) and yet so many of hers favs are MINE too!!

“Hey Maryse, I thought I would send you my list of Best Books of 2015…of course some of my choices have multiple books because I loved the entire series!!!!Β  Okay, here they are…”

1. The Sweet Gum TreeΒ by Katherine AllredΒ  Β What an amazing story of love and forgiveness…fantastic writing that sucks you in from the very first word to the last! I loved it!2. The Three SeriesΒ by Kristen Ashley ( Until the Sun Falls From the Sky, With Everything I Am, and Wild and Free)Β  I am a huge lover of paranormal and that combined with KA’s storytelling just made these books rock!!! Great story and fantastic characters made me laugh and cry…who could ask for more!3.Β Confess: A Novelby Colleen HooverΒ  One of my absolute favorite authors! This book was unique and beautiful.Β  I loved the use of the artwork to enhance the dynamics of the love story.Β  Absolutely captivating!4. Closer to You SeriesΒ by AL Jackson ( Come to Me Quietly, Come to Me Softly, and Come to Me Recklessly)Β  A beautiful example of how one choice can impact many lives and how the power of love can bring about forgiveness of self and others. read more

Reader Favorites – Anne’s Top 10 Reads for 2015

Another top 2015 book list, and this time, our fellow reader Anne, has narrowed it down! πŸ˜€

Anne’s been with us since this year (at least in “active” form) and she’s been high active with us!! Here’s a little about Anne (and her book preferences):

  • “I love mafia books!”
  • “I love rock star romances!”
  • She’s a HUGE Elle Kennedy fan! “The secondary characters are great too! Love Tucker and his beard and the guys reaction to it for example. I don’t know it makes everything more believable. I can’t get enough of this series and Elle’s writing!”
  • She’s a HUGE Mia Sheridan fan! “She writes such unique, beautiful stories that she is without a doubt one of my favorite authors.”
  • ”Β I like anything that has a romantic element to it but I don’t like straight up erotica or mystery (scary) booksΒ :D“
  • “I don’t mind if its a series or a standaloneΒ :)Β I love angsty and passionate!”
  • “I like second chance romances because they give me hope. True love never dies and that’s just beautiful.”
  • Her take on an “HEA”: “A romance book by definition should end in a HEA. That’s why I love reading this genre! …That’s what I expect from a happy ending. It doesn’t mean I’ll only read books that end happily but I prefer if they do.”
  • “My poor Kindle is filled with books from one or 2 years ago that I haven’t read yet :/ And I keep adding more and more lol It never ends!”

Wither (The Withered Series) (Volume 1)Β – Amy Miles <— “…absolutely loved it! I could not put it down! Totally reminded me of Until The End Of The World so if you liked that, I highly recommend this one! No cliffhanger, but set up for the next book! Ugh, my heart is on the floor!” read more
