I do remember how delightful Tarryn Fisher’s “The Opportunist” was (heroine also faked amnesia when she saw her ex again… the one that she had never gotten over), and boy oh boy was the drama SO. MUCH. FUN!!!

I am looking for a highlander romance i read sometime back.
Highlander hero travels with heroine after an arranged marriage from her castle to his. Journey takes a few days and while they do develop some rappport over the travel it’s not enough. They reach hero’s castle and hero’s mistress/ lehanne is there to welcome him.
I remember over the first dinner heroine feels isolated while mistress fawns all over the hero. And he also spends the first few nights with his mistress. But eventually he sleeps with the heroine. He is actually quite taken up with the heroine his wife but feels he should not develop feelings.
