Vicki needs our book help! Historical romance and it sounds GREAT!! I’m hoping this funny scene will spark someone’s memory.

She asks:

RE: Old, old romance

This was an old book about a peasant girl that has to marry a Scottish barbarian. At the wedding, she asks  everyone to stop and she stomps around talking to herself before she agrees.

Very funny.

I think it might be Johanna Lindsey but I’m not sure.

It’s driving me crazy!

Sazi needs our book help! Okay I have two books that I remember precisely the Hero essentially kidnapping the heroine to claim her.

One by Kristen Ashley (The Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley <— one of my ALL TIME FAVORITES!!) and one by Mary Wine (Book Review – In the Warrior’s Bed by Mary Wine <— whoooooo the steam in THAT one *fans self*).

Anyway, those are my guesses. LOL!!

BLAST FROM OUR BOOK PAST!!! Georgia’s favorite book of all time, and we’re so lucky ’cause she sent me this amazing email to let us know. And I’ve heard soooooooo much about Adam Black and I think I need to know more. That kind of devotion for a Hero (or should I say anti-hero) is totally my thing. Especially the anti-hero part. 😉

I am looking for a highlander romance i read sometime back.

Highlander hero travels with heroine after an arranged marriage from her castle to his. Journey takes a few days and while they do develop some rappport over the travel it’s not enough. They reach hero’s castle and hero’s mistress/ lehanne is there to welcome him.

I remember over the first dinner heroine feels isolated while mistress fawns all over the hero. And he also spends the first few nights with his mistress. But eventually he sleeps with the heroine. He is actually quite taken up with the heroine his wife but feels he should not develop feelings. read more

Ooh have you guys read this historical romance book i forgot it’s name but it’s about a mute ordinary girl and scott clan lead & warrior.
