Simply stunning in its beauty and its darkness. The harsh Alaskan winters and way of life to survive them, and that of unconditional love… no matter how amazing or how horrible that love may be. Facts of real life. No matter how ugly.
I absolutely loved it from start to finish (even the whole build up and shock of moving to Alaska – I was riveted!!!!).
Terri is looking for this one! Ahhhhh this is another trope that is nearest and dearest to my book-heart. Heroines, newly divorced, trying to cope after the trauma of it all, while starting over. I may have read it, and if I haven’t, I’ll want to.

It was about a woman that was divorced and mornings were the hardest time for her. She says that most people think it would be at night. She has to get herself together to attend her ten year old? nephew’s birthday party.
A new-to-me series (that one of my favorite authors – Devney Perry – is loving) and I HAD to investigate!! This one sounds heartwarming and right up our emotional alley! Rugged cops, and the women starting over in a new place… YES PLEASE!! AND!! Book #2 is up for preorder. 😀

My fellow book-blog buddy, Angie went CRAZY for book #1, and that’s when I first heard of it a few months ago. And then I received a few awesome recommendations for it too, so guess what? THIS will be my next read (I’m starting today). Yep. I just one-clicked it! YAY ME!!! Book #1 and book #2 are both out (#2 was just recently released), and number 3 is coming out on my birthday. How’s that for luck?!!! 😀
