Following my heart, one book at a time...
OMG SURPRISE!!! Book #3 (A Scarcity of Condors) JUST WENT LIVE!!! I love this author and went crazy for book #1 (in fact, here’s 5-STAR my review) and I still need to read #2 – but my book buds LOVED IT and now… we have another!!! 
These are TOTALLY epic love stories, yet not necessarily “romance” (in the traditional contemporary romance books sense). And to me? A love story, in all of its unpredictable growth and glory (the good and the bad) is my absolute reading perfection.
An Exaltation of Larks
<— IT’S LIVE!!!!!! AND OH. WOW!!!!!! What an exquisitely detailed family saga, unfolding from (and into) an epic love story. This author charmed and seduced me with her prose, but she consumed me with the portrayal of her life-like, emotional characters, weaved together by happenstance, forever connected by fate. But even more so… by love.
Highly recommended by a few of my trusted, beloved book-buddies, I just KNEW I would go crazy for it!
Celeste: Oh!! Maryse, did you see that Suanne Laqueur’s An Exaltation of Larks has a release date? … I am SO. EXCITED!
So many of us are in a specific series “book-fog” right now and we know… that Suanne Laqueur’s The Fish Tales Series is one of THOSE series, that deserves it’s own “What to Read After…” list.
We’ve fallen hard in love, become attached, GASPED in horror (and disbelief) cried our eyes out, and grinned with glee over their journey, and now that it’s complete, we want more!!!

Here to Stay (The Fish Tales Book 3)
This was the PERFECT way to round out one of the most poignant love-story series ever! Wow… as much as I loved #1 (my book review of The Man I Love) & #2 (my book review of Give Me Your Answer True), this one cinched the whole series as a 5-star MUST read! The writing is exquisite. Absolutely exquisite!!!!
For anyone that loves an epic love story, but doesn’t shy away from hard, sometimes darker emotions, ugly situations, and wants to FEEL and react along with the characters, this one is for you! This story, in it’s entirety, is stunning.
One of my absolute favorite authors in the whole world (and a recent one from just a few weeks ago!!!) loves THESE books, my friends!!! Take a look!!!
