BLAST FROM MY BOOK PAST!! This book put me through the romance-angst ringer. I mean… it had everything we love to hate and was a definite Kindle-thrower for sure (so if you choose to read this, tie that sucker to your wrist). Just sayin’.

I didn’t LOVE the book but pretty much because it made me so mad, but I’ll never forget it (especially one particular scene). And Chelsea brought it right back up front and center when I found her old email recommendation and I thought… OMG YES!! I remember that book, and I pulled up my review and I think, you know what? If you’re in the mood for a cheating a$$hole love story, then this might still be one for you. read more

I Dreamt That You Loved Me: A Love Story <— ROCK STAR ROMANCE & Cristina absolutely 5-STAR LOVED THIS BOOK!!! WOW this is a world class recommendation and I couldn’t just leave it as a simple comment. It deserves its own post and so I turned it into a mini review.

To the point and so exciting and she says ALL of the things that I’m looking for in an angsty romance (and I totally get what she means, that after years of constant reading… if it gives us that old-school oomph, gut-punch & heart-feels, it MUST be amazing). Ragi need our boy help & HOLY MOLY KINDLE-THROW ALERT! OOOOOOH WHAT A CRAZY-SOUNDING BOOK! Didn’t I read this? I think I read this!!! Either that, or the blurb gave me such a blurb jolt and that’s why this story sound so familiar. Per this description, it has that “Unbreak My Heart” feel to it.

Unrequited love, cheating, “the other woman” groveling hero etc… yes please!!!

Tammy needs our book help! I know for sure I haven’t read this one, but maybe you have?

She asks:

I’ve wanted to re-read a book but for the life of me I can’t remember the title.

H and h are dating, and she catches H comforting his sister-in-law (his brother’s widow) and he feels like he has to be there for her.  I can’t remember if h and the widow are sister’s or not.   The name Fayth is what I keep coming up with.

Her family isn’t supportive and talk down to her, but it turns out she is very smart and is a contractor (maybe?) with a high security clearance – that no one knows about.   She does end up going away and getting hurt. read more
