Question of the Day: Will There Be Any More in Lynn Viehl’s Darkyn Series?
Jamie sent me this question a few days ago, from my “Darkyn Series Reading Order Guide”:
“When is Lynn Viehl gonna put out a new book?”
Well, Jamie! You’re in luck! Despite having originally “retired” the series, Lynn has decided to continue writing about the Darkyn, via a new trilogy (book#1 will be: Nightborn: Lords of the Darkyn – expected release March 6th 2012).
She posted this on her blog (FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2012):
“Now that I’m returning to writing Darkyn novels, I do wonder at times if history might repeat itself. For the second time in my career I’ve revived a series that my publisher killed but that the readers wanted me to keep writing. I have three new Darkyn novels under contract, and if these do well, I can certainly write more after this trilogy concludes. Since this has been my bestselling series to date, and readers have been very vocal about wanting more books, I think I have a fairly decent shot.
Jennifer Rardin – Jaz Parks Series Reading Order
Another vampire series as highly recommended by fellow vampire lover, Jennifer:
“I’ve come across your website trying to put all the books series i’ve read in order and when a new release is coming out. I just found out you don’t have one of my absolute favorite authors on your list. so, i’d like to make a suggestion. The author is Jennifer Rardin, a “Jaz Parks series… There is also a short story, but i don’t recall the name of it and can’t locate it on the internet. its suppose to be about Vayl (the vampire in the series) in his point of view when he works with Jaz.”

Lothaire
Yet again, another Kresley Cole book that I LOVED! And noooooo! I know what you might be thinking’! Nuh uh! I’m not being all biased ’cause I saw, and sorta hugged on the author and vampire up close, in real life and all. *blush*
Okay, well… I mean, I do admit I didn’t have to struggle to imagine Lothaire in my head. It does help my attention span when the “hero” (or in this case, villain/potential hero) is *real* to me. Where I can perfectly visualize everyone of his expressions, from the dark stare, to the the humor in his eyes, as he loosens up in his personal life. And in this case, Lothaire couldn’t have been clearer. I must thank Kresley for allowing us the opportunity to enjoy Lothaire in all of his splendor! Y’all rocked my reading experience!!
Quick Videos From the Kresley Cole Lothaire Signing With Paul Marron
Okay, I’ve put together a couple of fun videos of the book signing (with more to come). And of course, I’m still planning on putting together a part 2 of the event (with tons more pictures). I’ve got so many to choose from, and will be putting that up shortly.
In the meantime, enjoy 🙂
Oh, and PLEASE excuse my “crazy face” for the video thumbnail (hehe, yep… I was excited 😉 )
