She asked:
Hi Maryse,
It’s been a while.
I remember you writing on your blog years back of the best historical romance that you’ve ever read. And it was like a six out of five stars. It was a book you’d always recommended. But I am trying to look through your website and I can’t find anything.
I think the cover was in shades of blue.
The Last Stars in the Sky (Lost Lake Book 1) <— This one gave me the ultimate blurb jolt, and I one-clicked it so hard!!! I had my hopes set on a certain outcome by what the blurb hinted at, and it delivered!!
Maryse: I JUST ONE-CLICKED THIS ONE ’cause it sounds incredible!! And it’s SUPER-BARGAIN priced right now. YAY ME!!!
“...just eight hours after I tucked my daughters into bed, feeling so hopeful, the world as I knew it—as anyone knew it—was gone for good…”
BTW, the usual favorites of course, are on here (like that one to the left, and of course The Bronze Horseman and Outlander – and by this point, I’m sure most of us have devoured them). But I promise you there are a TON more recommendations below (many that are new-to-me) and sound AMAZING!!!!!!
Lorna asked:
