BTW, the usual favorites of course, are on here (like that one to the left, and of course The Bronze Horseman and Outlander – and by this point, I’m sure most of us have devoured them). But I promise you there are a TON more recommendations below (many that are new-to-me) and sound AMAZING!!!!!!

So what’s it about?
Nila the Bleeding Garden describes the turbulent journey of an Afghan girl called Nila who suddenly has to escape her homeland with her family during the long Afghan war.
As a child refugee, she experiences the trauma of displacement, first to Pakistan and then to Canada, during which her family struggles to survive and slowly falls apart.

So I came across a novel while I was surfing the web and I thought I had saved it but now I can’t remember the title of the book.
These are the details that are fuzzy in my head about the book.
It is a new book about three young women who are in small town in America during WW2. The town actually existed during the war and it was a sort of military town.
I believe one of the young lady’s father is a military man (maybe pilot) and she is interested in joining something in the military as well.

After reviewing your list of military romance trying to find a book I’ve been searching for months I thought I might just go to the source!
I only remember the secondary love story of the book.
It was a romantic suspense military where the secondary H was helping the wife of a killed friend. She is Muslim & pregnant & there was a scene where she was attacked I think in a gas station & they took her hijab & she hides & calls the H to help her & he covers her and carries her out.
