Following my heart, one book at a time...
The Murder Mystery Race takes place in the year 2054, aboard a luxury cruiseliner where 16 adolescents compete in a lethal challenge to track down a murderer. The competitors must show themselves as courageous and clever while exhibiting excellent weaponry skills.
In a bleak, dystopian future surveillance state, a band of teens rises from society’s lowest classes to incite an eerily familiar revolution.
BOOK INTRO
Following his long-lost father’s tattered journal of forbidden handwritten maps and thoughts, 17-year-old Donovan Washington Rush plans a desperate escape from his homeland, a hopelessly dark and downtrodden underground known as “The Sewers.” A vast area of struggling underclasses, The Sewers are buried thousands of feet below a massive superpower surveillance state known simply as The Empire.

I’m loving the story but holy cow after book 2 the story picks up in a completely different place and I know I’m obviously missing something! It probably bounced to another series for a little bit but I can’t find out which one!!!

Julie needs our book help! Okay I’ve definitely read a few like this and maybe even this one… however I can’t remember the part about the cute camper. It made me think of Kyland by Mia Sheridan (here’s my review), but the details don’t match. The feel does, though, it would seem.
She asks:
Going crazy trying to remember a book. Can someone help?
YA/Contemporary Romance about a girl who is a senior in high school who lives alone (can’t remember why) in an old trailer/camper in the woods. She’s a good student and keeps to herself.
