By 35 Comments

Ohhhh you guys look who’s up next in Saturday’s “Reader Favorites” list!!! Marit! My fellow-squeeeeeer!!! I just LOVE her love of books. When she finds one she loves, she is SO enthusiastic! Ecstatic, even!

Okay let’s take a book-look into “Marit”. Here are a few things about her, and some memorable quotes! 😀

  • She’s been with us since 2013!
  • She’s European!

“I’m from Norway”

  • Do you know how they celebrate Easter in Norway? Tee hee!!! We all got a kick out of this tidbit:

“Do you celebrate easter in the US? In Europe we do and It’s right around the corner! In the easter people go to their cabins in the mountains or woods and read enigmatic thrillers while they eat easter eggs filled with candy. We would love for you to write us a reading guide with scary books!” read more

Did you guys know there’s a 3rd book coming out in this series? I fell in love with Karina’s dark and gritty romance reads, but you know what? She does “contemporary romance’ just as well! I loved “The Pact” (my review) and now there are more!!!

Lisa: The Pact by Katrina Halle. Super slow burn for me. About to start The Offer and hoping for similar feels.

Michelle: I read Karina Halle’s The Pact & was hooked! It was my favorite book of 2014. Since then, I’ve started working my way through her backlist. Now she’s an auto-buy! read more

PLUS! Hollywood Dirt by Alessandra Torre <— I’m going to bring back another major standout right now because I just posted the review, and yes… as you already know, I am ABSOLUTELY SHOUTING IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS!!! I thought I was maybe… you know… taking a mini-breather from sweet contemporary romance, because my psych-thriller adrenaline rushes were totally doing it for me, but this one brought me RIGHT back!! THIS is why I love sweet and funny and witty and angsty romance. So this is my recommendation to you! read more
