Happy NEW RELEASE day!!! The first “new release” day of the new year!!! I’m still adding to the list (SO many released today) including one from Kresley Cole, Jasinda Wilder, Penelope Douglas, Alice Clayton and a few more of our favorites. Plus of course, some “new to mes”! And I’ve already found a few more that have me incredibly tempted. I’ll post my list in just a few… Hmmm… could I be ready for another dark read? 😉

P.S. Let me know if I’m missing any or if you loved any (from this list or elsewhere). :D read more

Book Review – Dreaming Of You by Lisa Kleypas

Dreaming of You (Gamblers)
Ahhhhh Regency romance. I’m not that familiar with the genre yet, but so far? It sure is swoon worthy, and just like Jennifer said, there are bad boy heroes in these, too! And we had a true bad boy (Derek Craven) play out in all of his glory in this book!

“Mr. Craven doesn’t know how to love. He recognizes it only as weakness and folly. That’s part of his attraction to women, I believe. They each hope to be the one who will finally capture his heart.” read more

Currently Reading… a historical romance!!

Dreaming of You (Gamblers) by Lisa Kleypas <— Yep! I am! This is the one!! And it’s been awhile now that I keep hearing about this mysterious and brooding “Derek Craven” that makes so many here, swoon like mad.

I haven’t read many of ’em in my reading lifetime but each and every one of that I HAVE read, I’ve loved like crazy. From Karen Marie Moning’s sexy highlanders (like Beyond the Highland Mist – and yes I KNOW Adam Black’s book I need to read ASAP in this series) to Mary Wine’s SCORCHING-HOT (In the Warrior’s Bed <— whoooooooooo!!!*) kidnappy-highlanders (hey! It’s what they did back then, I guess. Family revenge and all that), to Outlander and The Bronze Horseman (both ruled my world). read more

Pamela Clare – I-Team Series Reading Order

By 2 Comments

This series came highly recommended in one of our fellow readers’ TOP 2014 lists!! 😀

Georgia: PamelaClare .. Love the I-Team series. If you have not read this series it’s soo good! Intelligent, sexy, very real. The author was an actual Denver journalist. Enjoy ..

Feifei: One of my favorite romantic suspense series!! The heroes are especially noteworthy

IsDonIsGood: Striking Distance (Book 6 of I Team Series) – Pamela Clare: this book covered confronting topics very well, with great characters and a wonderful story. May be a trigger (read Author’s Notes on her website). The prior books in this series do not cover similar content and I would certainly recommend reading those as well. A great series that continues to grow in depth and she hit the ball out of the park with this one. read more
