Following my heart, one book at a time...
Paranormal romance/urban fantasy lovers!! This one is now complete, and has great reviews!
Cindy: Hi maryse. Just finished the mageri series by danika dark. Love, love, loved it!!! One of the few series that as Doon as I was done I immediately reread it. Great characters, plot line, angst, love interests, hot guys, shifters, vamps and morem
MichelleS: Since you and I have similar taste in Urban Fantasy – did you ever read The Mageri series? or Irin Chronicles? LOVED both.
About book #1:
Just a quick update… I AM still here (just popping in and out over the last week), ’cause I’m moving!!! My new house, has built in bookcases and everything!!! *squeeeee!!* AND! I have a new blogging room, so I’m playing in that as we speak.
So yes… my reading’s taking a tiny hit, but I’m still here, still reading and I’ll be right back to my one-click frenzy in just a day. ‘Cause tomorrow is Friday and that’s my favorite!!! 😀
Pictures coming soon… I can’t wait to put my signed books on my shelves!
Fun looking new YA series and from the blurb, it sounds like it’ll have the “Princess Diaries” feel which I loved. Er… the movie. I didn’t… umm… read the books. 😉 But all that to say, this looks like fun for those that are looking for more!
About book #1:
Samantha Rousseau is used to getting her hands dirty. Working on a master’s degree in wildlife biology while helping take care of her sick father, she has no time for celebrity gossip, designer clothes, or lazy vacations. So when a duchess from the small country of Lilaria invites her to dinner, Samantha assumes it’s to discuss a donation for the program. The truth will change the course of her life in ways she never dreamed . . .
Some highly anticipated releases on today’s list (like that one over there, to the left). 😉 We love us some tattooed bad boys, don’t we? Plenty of those below.
Plus some dark reads, some billionaires, sports stars and fighters, military heroes, and single dads. And single moms, too! Oh and a few of the paranormal releases today are HUGE!!! Jennifer L. Armentrout, Darynda Jones and Maggie Stiefvater. Yeah… this is a great release day! And don’t even get me started on the pre-orders at the bottom of this list. There are TWO that I’ll be reading at the same time coming out in just a couple of days, I just know it. Sociopath (eeeeep!!!) and Here With Me (*sob*) <— The angst!!!!! And then Last Light (which is next week)…
A few highly anticipated Sunday/Monday surprises have shown up on Amazon, so I thought I’d post them here. 😀 Two of ’em are follow ups to books I LOVED like CRAZY, one of ’em is the conclusion to a series I’m dying to start (some say “Barrons-like feel to him) <— *squeeee* and a few just look plain ol’ awesome!
Considering their predecessors are just SO popular amongst our reading crew, I couldn’t wait until tomorrow to let y’all know, so this is an “earlybird release special”. 😉
