Following my heart, one book at a time...
<— One of my favorite reads of 2012 (see my 5-star review) and book #2 has just been released and is on my “this week’s TBR” list! I’m already hearing how amazing it is, too.
Kelsey: Samantha Young didn’t fail again with Down London Road. Hope everyone else enjoyed it too 😉
Meghan: I did – I finished it last night. 4 stars for me.
Tiffany: Finished Down London Road in a day! I loved it!
And guess what!? There’s going to be more!!
About book #1:
Sometimes, I’ve got a few of hours to kill before “something”. Like say… while I wait in the car as my husband does his “man” shopping (instead of dragging my feet behind my husband at a home improvement store to stare at wood for hours. Or bricks).
Or like, I dunno. A slow period during work (or an extra long break) where all you can do is sit and wait. An extra long wait in the waiting room. Oh! I know. A plain, train or automobile trip that could go by in a heartbeat if you had something awesome to read.
UPDATED 09-12-2019!!!
Hrmmm… this one looks good. A “gothic” nightclub and a regular girl that gets a job there and realizes there is more to the place, and to her boss. That’s definitely my kind of eerie romance. 😉
Brought to my attention by Michele (and now I realized a few other of our fellow readers suggested these, too) on my Facebook page when she said:
Michele: I am going to start it this week after I finish the Afterlife saga. I am loving this series so far…
Quite a few new series installments that have come out today. Like the latest from Samantha Young (Down London Road), and Kelli Maine (Taken by Storm). A new Joey Hill “Vampire Queen” release (Taken by a Vampire). Plus the last book in the Sookie Stackhouse series (Dead Ever After) was just released today, and while I can’t check out the reviews just yet (avoiding spoilers), the Amazon rating does not look promising. Eeeeeeep!!
Oh and a few added to my latest TBR list (that I posted on Friday) from the releases below: Down London Road and The Princess and the Porn Star. <— tee hee!! 😉
Happy “Taken by Storm” release day!!! I’m having a MEGA-release giveaway (FIFTY e-books provided by the publisher – Forever Romance – to 50 winners!!!) plus an awesome look into Kelli Maine’s her alpha male heroes in her sexy (and a bit scary) series, her choice of writing style for book #1, and what’s coming next!
About “Taken By Storm”

When Maddie blows back into MJ Rocha’s life, nothing will stop him from proving to that walking away from him was the biggest mistake of her life—not even the engagement ring she wears. The fire that once raged between them still burns hot, and MJ won’t give up until Maddie gives in to the inferno.
