Oh look!! I found one more interview from Caroline Hanson’s recent trip to the Romance Writers of America Convention. It is with author Lauren Stewart who has just recently released Hyde, an Urban Fantasy and here she is to tell us more about it (and herself).
Here’s how she described her book to me, and I must say, I’m intrigued!! (look below, you’ll see why 😉 There are some important “key words” there!)
“… It is dark UF with strong romantic elements and dry humor, inspired by R.L. Stevenson’s original novella Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. But unlike Stevenson, who probably didn’t find fictional bad boys as attractive as I do, what I tried to do with my book is to examine the theme of good and evil within the relationship between a heroine and her anti-hero. An anti-hero who can be just as cruel and abrasive as Jericho Barrons from KMM’s Fever series, who has the wit and sarcasm of Vishous from Ward’s BDB series, and who is as incredibly hot as both of them. I hope you’ll agree.”
Quick synopsis of Hyde:
Cherise Sinclair – Mountain Masters & Dark Haven Series Reading Order
In the mood for more “alternative” romance? This author’s books (and especially her “Masters”) are dark, daring, super-steamy, sexy and still fun! Here is another series that comes highly recommended!

“… her new book “My Liege of Dark Haven” is out! That solved that! Looks like it has gotten a lot of five star reviews from readers already. I love her books! You may already know about this, but if not, check it out!”

Book Review – On Dublin Street by Samantha Young
On Dublin Street
A review for this one, already? Didn’t I just start this last night? Yep! I was so excited about this book after the enthusiastic “Labor Day” recommendations for it, that I ignored my TBR list and jumped on this one immediately. And it appears so many of you joined me!Maryse’s Book Blog: You girls are just as bad as I am with your awesome book recommendations and making my TBR list build & shift like crazy. That’s right! —> Just as bad as me! *silly grin* and I love you for it when you find me something that moves my entire TBR list down to move a book right to the top. “On Dublin Street” by Samantha Young. This is what I’m currently reading. Right now. As we speak. I am starting it! *squeeeee*

On Dublin Street
Did you see that? My TBR list… shifting yet again. And this time is a first, because I have just heard about this book for the first time today, (FIVE times today, actually), and it literally moved EVERYTHING down a notch. After two mentions of it this morning, I decided I’d move it to my “next weekend” read, after I finished the one I’m reading right now, and a series I’ve been anxious to get to.Yvette: have you read On Dublin street? I think you would love it!
