Following my heart, one book at a time...
Lots of highly anticipated ones in this batch!! Including My Fair Succubi by Jill Myles (ZAAAANE!!! tee hee!!). Looks like my latest Outlander book will be put on hold tonight so I can spend time with some much missed vampires 😉
Once in a Full Moon by Ellen Schreiber – release date: Dec 28th 2010My Fair Succubi
Dragonfly in Amber (Outlander, Book 2)
Book #2 in the Outlander series had my attention, but I was not always riveted to the story. It progressed nicely, albeit somewhat confusingly. We jump from the 1900’s to the 1700’s and back again as Claire recounts her astounding tale, and it was enough to make me panic a bit (Claire went back to the future?? She’s back with Frank? She’s got a daughter! What?! HELP! What happened to Jamie?!)
It’s safe to say the beginning (and that is how it starts) alarmed me, but my despair had me bound and determined to find out where this was going…
Merry Christmas! I hope everyone has a fun-filled day planned with friends and family (or books!) 🙂 I have both! I will be spending the afternoon with friends, and then onto a relaxing night reading.
I finally finished book#2 in the Diana Gabaldon Outlander series, and will be reviewing that tomorrow. Part of my husband’s gifts to me, included both books and Amazon gift cards (for more books). He knows me well 😉 –> (and of course, fashion and makeup paraphenilia – I am a girly-girl, after all, and love that stuff too).

“… i am very very hooked to a series by Melissa Marr called the Wicked Lovely series. i love it.”
As per the author’s website:
Rule #3: Don’t stare at invisible faeries.
Aislinn has always seen faeries. Powerful and dangerous, they walk hidden in mortal world. Aislinn fears their cruelty—especially if they learn of her Sight—and wishes she were as blind to their presence as other teens.
Rule #2: Don’t speak to invisible faeries.
Now faeries are stalking her. One of them, Keenan, who is equal parts terrifying and alluring, is trying to talk to her, asking questions Aislinn is afraid to answer.
<—WHAT A PERFECT TIME FOR A #TBT post! This one was from back in 2010 (I posted it on Christmas Eve 😀 ), and this series has a huge following. PLUS!! It’s going to be a movie and the trailer was just released! Here’s the movie trailer! It looks SO good!
Fellow reader, Rachel is loving this series!
“The Fallen Series (Lauren Kate) is another great series. Its more about angels who choose the side of good (fallen angels) and who choose evil (demons) and i loved every book so far in this one too!!”
