Following my heart, one book at a time...
<—- IT’S EARLY BIRD RELEASE TIME & LOOK WHAT JUST WENT LIVE!! HAPPY MONDAY & HAPPY NEW WEEK!! I can’t believe we’re almost April when Christmas feels like it was just last month. I miss the Holidays, but I am loving all the extra daylight and happy sunshine right now. I can read print books longer into the evening without having to worry about lamps. 😉
BTW – 11 early birds below including 4 or 5 of our original indie favorites that have just released something new here. YAY US!!! 😀
Things That Break Us by Michelle Heard <— BLURB JOLT ALERT! THE HOLLYWOOD STAR & HIS SISTER’S BEST FRIEND & KATHY IS LOVING IT!
Kathy P: I just started Things that Break Us by Michelle Heard and I couldn’t put it down. And yes, I was teary and that hasn’t happened in a long time. Still have about 60% left.
She normally writes mafia themed books but this is definitely a departure from that.
Really good so far!
Maryse: OH YES that one gave me a blurb jolt. Did you finish it yet? I’m dying to know what you think!! It sounds like quite the tearjerker. I already have a lump in my throat.
M/M DARK FORBIDDENY ROMANCE ALERT & WELL HOLY MOLY!!! BOOK #2 JUST WENT LIVE & IT’S THE #2 BOOK ON ALL OF AMAZON KINDLE RIGHT NOW!
From the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rina Kent comes a scorching standalone professor/student dark MM romance set in the world of Legacy of Gods.
My darkness meets a darker soul.
I’m a golden boy. A genius law student, the heir to the Carson empire, and the dutiful son. Or, at least, that’s what it looks like from the outside. Deep inside, I have the urge to set the world on fire. I keep these impulses in check, rarely indulging in mayhem.
HAPPY FRIDAY AND IT’S FINALLY THE WEEKEND!! I am so relieved that I have all of my landscaping done for the season (at least I hope), everything looks amazing and fingers crossed that I can spend my weekend relaxing, reading & okay… maybe a bit more of organizing my closet.
So… what’s everyone reading right now? Are you loving it?
Neish: I just finished Alchemised by SenLiYu 2 days ago, and I’m lost for words. It was a heavy read but I loved it.
Maryse: I want to read that so badly!!
Pat from our Facebook crew is looking for this one! It’s short & sweet but hopefully somebody knows it. 🙂 I feel like I’ve read this one. Or… the trope is similar to a few blurbs I’ve read, and now I can’t pinpoint which one.
She asks:
Looking for a book about girl who gets engaged to her sweetheart and goes home where her father has arranged a marriage with a mafia boss to pay his gambling debt
