Monday Early Bird Book Releases – 10-17-2022

By 5 Comments

HAPPY MONDAY AGAIN!! Today’s early birds are ready, and there’s a brand new one by Devney Perry!!!!!! That one there to the left.

THREE THINGS:

1.) My MacBook Pro laptop (that I just received back because the battery was no longer charging and I had to have it replaced along with a USB C port) had a freak out again yesterday. Grrrrr!! This thing is barely 3 years old, and my old one from 2012/2013 still works to this day with no battery replacement as of yet. Luckily, I was able to find some kind of SMC reset and it fixed the battery and USB C ports so that everything was charging and working again. I’m not so sure how impressed I am with these new MacBook Pros. Something is certainly screwy (and I’m thinking it’s these USB C ports – I’m not a fan)… maybe it has to do with the OS, but within the first 2 months I purchased it, one the USB C ports went bad, and it just continues to act weird. read more

Terri is looking for this book for her mom. Now… I’m confused about the part (and the questioning) of how her bedroom door locks (as I’m thinking all of them do lock this way) however this book sounds CRAZY!!!

She asks:

I’m receiving this description second hand from my Momma, who is desperate for the title/author/both:

Heroine is trapped in strange marriage.

Husband is son of political higher up. Husband & Father-in-law want to “share” heroine, so she sleeps with bedroom door locked from inside. read more

Joana is looking for this book! Oh this heroine sounds intriguing indeed!! I bet this one will be a fun read.

She asks:

RE: Biker mc novel

Hi!

Really need your help. I have read this book but want to re-read it and completely forgot the name.

The main character (appears in other books of the series as a side character) is a blond cheerleader vibe girl, who owns a pink scooter, but is an assassin/deadly. She is germophobic and in the first chapter jumps into a pool to save the male character. He has a broken ankle (?) and is from another mc. read more

Lucy Score – Knockemout Series Reading Order

By 3 Comments

<— THIS ONE JUST HIT THE NYT BEST SELLERS LIST & A NEW ONE COMING OUT SOON! And so much love by our fellow readers for book #1!

Mona: I just finished Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score. It has a bit of a Tatum Jackson/Laurie/Sweet Dreams feel to it. How do I follow up from those two?!?

Cristina: HUGE shoutout to Mona who recommended Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score! I absolutely loved it! …I loved the chemistry between Knox and Naomi and I think EVERYONE needs a best friend like Stef in their life! Naomi is a runaway bride who flies into town to rescue her evil twin Tina from her latest antics and discovers a niece she never knew about, and of course she runs right into the grumpy and uber sexy Knox, aka “the Viking.” It was laugh-out-loud funny and so much fun! Another 5 star for me! 2022 is starting strong! read more
