Following my heart, one book at a time...
MY BLURB JOLTS: The Party Crasher (she sneaks into her family’s party that she was uninvited from and overhears some things…) Boyfriend (Sarina Bowen’s latest!! He’s her long time crush and she rents him for a date to a family event but… things go crazy!!)
THREE THINGS:
1.) Reader Questions have been coming fast and furious these days. I love it!! I still have more to post (I posted 7 of them yesterday)
2.) One of my dogs has gotten into the habit of waking me at 6:30am on the dot every single morning in the last week to be fed. I always wake up at 7am. They are fed at 7:05am. What the heck happened??? Why is she so crazy??? I’m tiiiiiiiired. She’s hunnnnnngry.
Cheny is looking for this one! Ooooooooh a good grovel book!!!!! YES PLEASE!
She asks:
Hi Maryse!
I’ve been trying to search for this book for a year now and no luck! I’m hoping someone here can help!
Read this book about 3 years ago maybe.
It was about the hero and heroine being a couple during their high school or college years I believe. They broke up due to the Hero cheating on the heroine with the OW in a truck after a party since the heroine was holding out.
Fast forward a few years and the heroine returns to the small town (country setting I believe). The hero grovels for a long time for her. What stands out are ice tea and pie, not sure why!
Kate needs our book help! JERK HERO ALERT!!
This one *almost* sounds like one of my favorite books of all time by Mariana Zapata (Book Review – Wait for It) but she was the one that had the children (became the guardian to – if I can remember right – her brother’s children after his death).
I know that’s not the one but I LOVE this trope, so I’m dying to know this one. 😀
She asks:
Help finding a Nanny/Single Dad book
Hey Maryse,
I’ve been dying to find this book I read a while back. I think it was in one of your blog posts.
Beware has another guess the book question for us! Second chance romance (political romance??)!!
She asks:
Brit hero, college romance (I think)
Am looking for this book I read a long time ago.
The H & h were college or high school sweethearts. The H went back to England after and they lost touch. Fast forward to now and the h is now an accomplished journalist, and I think White House spokesperson, and the H is a BBC?
Foreign correspondent in the US.
So they met again but things are not that simple…of course.
