Jessica is looking for this bully book! I dunno why but the first book that came to mind is one I loved called “The Female of the Species” but I can’t pinpoint exactly why this book popped in my head, because I don’t particularly remember the scene Jessica describes below.

Nancy is looking for this one! I’ve read a few books with characters who are deaf (LOVED them all) but the three that come to mind don’t have the “bad guys” in the storyline she describes below.
