Following my heart, one book at a time...
“He was the conqueror and she the well-satisfied prey.”
And while this one CAN be read as a standalone, so many in our crew have gone crazy for it, and they suggest you devour each one. So… here’s the series reading order (<— including all the novellas and spinoffs – plus huge love for it there…) and here:
Good morning and happy Monday!! 😀 25 new releases on today’s list including a hole bunch of new books written by different authors, in Kristen Proby’s “With Me in Seattle” series.
“Three Things”:
1.) I am absolutely LOVING K.A. Tuckers latest – The Player Next Door. I pretty much just highlighted one whole chapter (at least that’s how it seems), ’cause it was just so intense, and jealousy inducing. The tension between these two is off the charts (she’s resists BIG time but internally, her reactions to him and her feelings are so real) and OMG I LOVED it because it was so realistic. I am hooked!
Also, we had 6 new Reader Questions yesterday, so check them out in case you might know the answer to one.
!!And…
Letting Go by L.A. Fiore <— LIVE!! SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE ALERT!! “…Years later, tired of existing but not living, I quit my job in Manhattan, sold my condo and moved to a log cabin in Wyoming. When I wake in the bed of Killian Reid, mistaken for a one-night stand, I never imagined I’d fall for the man. But I did. Not at first; a slow fall, so gradual I didn’t realize I was no longer falling. I’d been given a second chance at a happily ever after. And then Brock Callahan walks back into my life…“
Kiwi Strong (New Zealand Ever After Book 3) by Rosalind James <— Jan loves this series!Jan: Kiwi Strong by Rosalind James is out on 19th June. I’m enjoying the series and have preordered this one. 😀
A Little Bit Wicked (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside Book 1) by Melissa Foster <— LIVE!! MELISSA FOSTER’S LATEST! “...If you think bikers are all the same, you haven’t met the Dark Knights. The Dark Knights are a motorcycle club, not a gang. Their members stick together like family and will stop at nothing to keep their communities safe. Their stories are told in the same loving, passionate voice readers have come to adore in Melissa’s other series. Some of the Wickeds’ love stories will be hilariously fun and deeply emotional, others will tear at your heartstrings and include injections of humor, but they will all leave you wishing you could climb between the pages and join them!”
Loner by Harloe Rae <— RECLUSIVE ALERT! “…a well-equipped biker pulls over to save me. One glance at the scowl Crawford Doxe is wearing proves he isn’t impressed with the task. My efforts to change his mind deflate faster than the shredded tire at our feet. But disgruntled or not, my so-called hero still agrees to fix my flat...” Nancy enjoyed this one!Nancy: I started LONER last night. He is a recluse. I was hoping it wasn’t another slow-burn romance. At 25% it turned so “HOT” I was afraid my Kindle would short circuit!!
Ekatarina is looking for this book! AND YES!!! I think I know this one and I loved it!!! So I posted it below, along with my book review of it. 😀 BUT!!! I’m still leaving this open for other guesses ’cause I’m not 100% sure.
She asks:
Hi,
Please help 🙂
So I’ve been trying to remember a book I read some time ago. Unfortunately, I cannot recall any specifics other than the plot –
It is on a (maybe Pacific) island, they are neighbors.
He just found out he is not the father of his daughter of around 14 years and came to the island to figure out his life and his feelings about it.
Jackson is looking for this one! Ooooh boy SO much amazing detail in her questions (which is perfect since I’m sure these will spark someone’s memory), and it’s forbiddeny too!!
She asks:
Does anyone here know the name of a historical romance where the heroine has mental powers (telepathy, mind being able to leave body, casting images to others) and is trying to solve either a missing person case or a murder case by reading palms and getting images from people?
The heroine and her sister were orphans being raised by the hero guardian in a house of magical sisters who, I believe, assisted the crown with their magic. One sister, was jealous of the heroine and walked around naked all the time. Her legitimate sister is out of the house, married, and has the gift of healing.
