Following my heart, one book at a time...
“Three Things”:
1.) Okay so I watched it. 365 DNI (on Netflix) was… *blink blink* er… over-the-top and kind of goofy (lots of clothes modeling sequences – everyone is gorgeous). That said, y’all were right that it’s super-hot (like “OMG I CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT I’M WATCHING ON NETFLIX RIGHT NOW” HOT) and at times infuriating (JUST like our books), and yet.. I kind liked it. Tee hee!! Though that cliffhanger was a killer. HOLY MOLY THE BOAT SCENES… and well. ALL of “those” scenes.
Carmen: Reading this as we speak, it’s keeping me glued to my tablet. ❤️
Niki: The cover says ‘read me’ all over it. Love it. Thank goodness it’s available to read in Australia! Thank you!
About book #1:
A timeless love story with bite.
It was a night like any other for funeral home director Ginny Lynn, until the exceptionally handsome—and unfortunately deceased—young man on her embalming table sat up, opened his emerald eyes and changed the course of her life
forever, making her feel quite fluttery while he was at it.
It’s faeries, it’s rockstars, it’s reverse harem!
And to celebrate her latest release, the author is today’s newsletter sponsor AND giving away two ebook copies. 😀
About book #1
They’ve haunted my dreams, now they’re coming for me. I’ve lived in Gisbourne my whole life, feeling like nothing other than a set of symptoms to my family, my town. Until now
Asked to photograph the outright debauchery of Avalon Records latest launch, I look and I look and I look until finally I see it. My parents gave me a camera when I was a kid to help me see the truth: there’s no such thing as the fae.
TIME FOR THE FRIDAY FINDS!! I’m still working on the list as we speak, but take a look at what just went live!!! A new one by Aly Martinez and M. Mabie!!!! And it’s a comedy romance.
SATURDAY BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!! King Among the Dead (Hell Theory Book 1) by Lauren Gilley IS LIVE!! And it. Sounds. INCREDIBLE!!!
Oh by the way!! Per Iqra’s request she asks:
Hi I’m looking for books where heroine see hero on a date with other women. Heroine is jealous.
I’m going to start building this list over the weekend, so if you have a favorite gut-puncher of a jealousy book, let us know in the comments. 😀
Michelle is looking for this one! I could swear I’ve read this exact scene, so I know I’ve read this one… but I can’t pinpoint what book it was. But it was at least 3 to 5 years ago? P.S. BEWARE of the huge spoiler alert!!
She asks:
Hi Maryse
I’m looking for the book about a girl who’s boyfriend was a singer in a band involved in a mass shooting at the club where he was performing.
His brother saves the girl from being shot, but her face gets scarred from glass on the floor.
