Reader Question – The book about the two characters that exchanged notes in the library…

June 4, 2020 By Maryse Leave a Comment

Ashley is looking for this one. It’s short and sweet but maybe the “note” detail will spark your memory? I actually submitted 2 guesses (that I LOVED).

She asks:

There is this book about a football player and the friend of the main girl character in the first book.

The book I am talking about is the second book of the series. The two characters exchanged notes in the library and wanted to meet each other but he is a player.

…its a football series and I think the name of the guy in the first book was Nicolas in the first book he was forced to volunteer at a camp or something like that. read more

Kathy needs our book help! I don’t have a ton of bully-book experience (other than how much I enjoyed “The Paper Princess“), but I don’t think that’s the one she’s looking for.

She asks:

Hi Maryse

…looking for help finding a book I can’t remember title or author.

It was about 2 brothers, high school age who kind of bully their neighbor girl who’s also high school age. They annoy her by having pool parties because their mom I believe is a nurse and works nights. read more

I went crazy for another paranormal series by this author (and I MEAN CRAZY!!!) And then, I found out about this one via a recent reader question that made it sound SO good, but she couldn’t remember that title. Annnnnnd then… I found out that Tessa pretty much loved the whole series!

Tessa: Oooooh. I really like Born Sinners… SL Jennings should only do PNR just because I loved every one she did that much. …LOVED it. It was all sorts of PNR awesome…

Leigh-Ann: It was an awesome series. read more

About book #1

I was naïve to think my marriage to Luka Catano might work.

I was infatuated with him from afar… Until I met him. He loved the challenge of his next conquest, anyone would do… Except me. A wife was never something he wanted.

Torturous was not a strong enough word to describe how I felt when I was in a room with Luka. Besides hating nearly every word that came out of his mouth, I also drowned with lust every time I looked at him. read more
