Ambra is looking for this one! OMG THE DRAMA!!!! I’m incensed and titillated at the same time. YES… but it’s a spoiler so proceed with caution (I alert before the big reveal is mentioned), and while I normally hate spoilers, this one kind of makes me want to read it anyway. Eeeeeep!

I read the 1st book of a duet the 2nd book to come out by the end of the year.

We’ve chatted about this subject off and on in the comments over the years, and I couldn’t help but post this today. It’s a subject near and dear to my heart (in real life… and in book life). Done right, it’s what makes the characters real. Done right in real life, it helps forge that sweet connection and closeness.

Okay right off the bat, Babe or Baby melts me. I just love that! It’s personal and intimate and sweet (and yes… it’s “usual”) but I’m into it. My parents always called each other that (and loved each other like crazy), and to me, it shows affection and intimacy. So when Tate in Sweet Dreams would say it, I would swooooooon. He could answer a whole situation or conversation with that one… statement. read more

The Simple Wild: A Novel
I LOVED IT!!! But I knew I would. K.A. Tucker has become one of my most favorite authors ever. I connect deeply with each one of her books (and heroines), and I feel like I’m actually living them. I love her “voice”, and her brand of storytelling that is so unique to her, and yet so relatable to me.

This one was exactly what I was hoping for. Funny, heartwarming, and bittersweet. I read it with an almost permanent smile on my face. I was delighted. They had me chuckling so hard… read more
