It’s Ashley’s turn!! 😉 This is her very first “Best of List” with us so I’m excited to see what she’s into!! She’s been with us awhile, but finally made herself known in 2017 (and totally made me snort with her very first two comments – which I’ve included below). 😉

I have soooo many good books in the hopper right now. It’s hard to choose what to read next. I absolutely love that feeling!
I’m getting ready for my 2 months in Maryland. I’m going to visit my husband who works there, my daughter and son. Can’t wait for retirement then we won’t have such a big commute to see each other.
I’m ready for Fall also. I’m so tired of 100+ heat every freaking day! I’m ready to harvest, but unfortunately in AZ that doesn’t happen until mid October around here.

IN THE MOOD FOR MARITAL STRIFE & DRAMA?
I mean…NOT in real life!!! In BOOKS. Always and only in books. ;)Yep. Some of us can’t resist the drama that comes with trying to hold a marriage together… or the drama of the aftermath. Or all of the details that cause a marriage to go south. It’s the topic of one of my most often requested recommendations lists (in various “romance” forms… divorce, infidelity, arranged marriages… life starting over and so on).
When I started the “genre categories” section on the blog, I received requests for a “cowboys” section, so I’m on it (along with a few “reader requests” for cowboy book recommendations) Leslie (and crew) asked:
Leslie: We have a cowboy themed challenge for November and would love to hear people’s faves (and maybe even variations like country music star H, etc). Think you could ask around?
Ela: Also, to add to Leslie’s comment….some of us would prefer a book about riding a cowboy….preferably US…. Just sayin’ for a friend.
