You know what’s fun? When we realize that authors are readers too! I mean, I’ve always known so many of our favorites have their own book favorites and are avid readers too. And it’s even more fun to find out what they love to read when they aren’t writing. Does it inspire them? Does it just give them a fun break-escape from all of their own voices in their heads? Reader Favorites – Betty’s Top Favorite Books List:
Happy Reader Favorite’s Saturday day!! 😀 Our friend Betty is up next!! She’s been here (at least publicly) since February of 2014 and is right there with us on so many of our favorites, and some of our not-so-favorites, too.
She REALLY went crazy for Tarryn Fisher’s “Love Me With Lies Series” series, and loves a variety of genres, including books like #1 in Lee Child’s “Jack Reacher” series (Killing Floor (Jack Reacher, Book 1) and lots of hugely popular paranormals, too! (P.S. Betty… I’ll always be team Jean Claude. 😉 ). Tee hee!!
Reader Favorites – Johanne’s Top Favorite Stephen King Books List:
My sister is an AVID reader too!! In fact, SHE is the one that introduced me to the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon (but she read them in FRENCH!! She’s from Quebec, Canada), and I knew… we were kindred reading spirits, as WELL as sisters! And since she’s spending her October vacation with me at my place, she’s feeling in the Halloween spirit and had a few of her own “reader favorites” she wanted to recommend. 😀
But she’s narrowed it down to a particular author! THE wonderful, creeptastic, Stephen King!! P.S. She’s 100% bilingual but some of them, she was describing to me in french, so I translated (and typed) as she spoke. 😀
