Sarah is looking for a recommendations on this specific trope. I LOVE THIS LIST IDEA!!!
I totally LOVE when there’d be a few chapters of the grumpy Hero suddenly having to care for the heroine (often, they weren’t “together” yet), when she’d get a flu or something, and he’d become attached to her… and see her in a different light.
Those were always my favorite scenes… *swoooooon*
Do you have a list for girls that are sick or have some kind of condition and the guy is super protective and takes care of her?
Maryse: I could swear there are a bunch from my paranormal romance days where the immortal has to care for a sick human female. Maybe even a scene like that in the Twilight series?
I found this one, “The Offer,” which was the answer of a recent reader question!! Reader Question – The historical romance book about the heroine that ran away, was sick, and a stranger takes care of her in his cabin.
OH!!! AND!!! OMG THIS! Dreamfever: Fever Series Book 4 by Karen Marie Moning <— Definitely one of my favorite books of all time has a whole section kind of like that. The brooding and uncaring Barrons taking care of his Rainbow Girl. OMG I DIED. SO MUCH SWOOOOOONING!! P.S. Here’s my review.
Losing It by Cora Carmack!!!! OH YEAH!! I fell HARD for this book, because of that chapter. So many awesome awwwwesome parts. I even felt when she got that virus. That was SOME detail right there, I felt sick right along with her! Here’s my book review.
Susan: The Gamble by Kristen Ashley
Maryse: YESSSSS!!!! I loved this book. Here’s my Book Review. 😉
